I agree and it came back to bite us big time. Maybe one you let go if he really wants too much money, but you can't keep letting them go. Then you end up spending big money to rebuild the O-line anyway.
For me it has to with the ignorant false start penalties, the holding penalties and the terrible blocking
We watched different games, he did a good job replacing Thomas in '02 and Szott in '03. He was a bench player, he's held to a lower standard. To expect him to be as good as Thomas or Szott wasn't fair.
We must have been watching different games because he was terrible. I'll have to go home and dig up specifics for you but he was awful. Consistantly with false start penalties and holding penalties...and very poor blocking.
Jumbo Elliott James Brown Mike Withycombe Mike was 76 w/ us but I coukdn't find a Jets picture, I thought seeing an orlando thunder uniform would be interesting.
I thought Lawrence Pillers was a steady, servicable player...he had a long career in the NFL, I believe 5 seasons with the Jets, for some reason I remember him recovering alot of fumbles....
Ironically, #89 on the Redskins was our own Verlon Biggs, #77 is Bill Brundige ...the 2 of them destoyed alot of o-lines
Please, nobody post a picture of Siupeli Malamala. We'll mention his name and leave it at that. Ugly guy and awful player. One of my most hated Jets ever.
