I can really see that, he played out of position here.

You really think that even if he was playing out of position he's going to make the Pro Bowl his first season playing inside at a new position? I don't.

Prediction: Coles gets hurt and Stuckey lights it up. They'll simplify and start letting Clemens throw downfield to him if Coles is out. Assuming Clemens is starting.

  7. Let's not go crazy w/ the Hobson ILB stuff. I can tell you he got plenty of reps at ILB in TC(At least when I was there)...and this regime feels very strongly about trying people at a number of different spots to gain familarity in case of injury and for future evaluations.

W/ the mediocre play Eric Barton has displayed...if Hobson had showed ANYTHING worth keeping at MLB..He wouldve been resigned. Especially considering who ended up signing him. Hobson could be a solid special teamer and lets see what BB draws up..but this could turn out to be another Monty Biesel.

  8. If the OL imprves their pass protection...I expect this offense(Under Clemens) to become alot more downfield. Reference the 4th qtr of the Balty game when D' brick was owning Suggs...and Clemens had all day to look downfield and see what I mean.

My (and everyones) surprise guy is Chansi Stuckey. Alot of people seem to like this guy.

D'Brick is aonther guy I expect to break out big time. Some people here really forget that this guy was a top 5 lock in both the '05 and very sickly loaded '06 draft. The way some people talk it's like he's got 0 talent and played piss poor. If a guy is too light, weak, and not technically sound enough...or incapable of ever being any of those things...why would he be a top 5 pick?

Who else do I like....I expect Cotchery to have his best season so far if that counts...Leon should be fun to watch again as usual...

I expect our defense to be more "solid" than anything else. Very bend but don't break-y. Basically I expect us to be better, but I'm not quite sure I see the big picture yet...like I wish I knew how aggressive they plan to be as far as blitzing goes and such...how the corners play...how much better Jenkins makes the DL...etc.

Offense ---- Kellen Clemens (I hope & pray)
Defense ---- Justin Miller (please stay healthy)

If these guys play well -- then in all probability, our team will be playoff bound.

Leon seems to have broken out seeing how he is an elite returner, my pick would have to be Dwight Lowery, just because I think the league will see how great this guy is

So he's going to back-up Bruschi at the ILB position on a 1 yr deal and make the pro bowl at the same time? Thats quite a football player.
