Wait till Mangini get a .500 winning percentage than tell me what a greart coach he is. HE might be applying for that Patriots video taping job real soon. True we don't KNow about M Bush and D Mcfadden, but we alraedy Know J fargas and Raiders running backs are better than the Turds you have at RB. Which Running game would you rather heading in 2008 season. Zach Miller of course you can't comment, IF C Baker was my TE I keep my mouth shut too. Again who cares what happened in previous years. What was Patriots, and Chargers record before they became very good teams. Raiders will defintely have a better record than Jets in 2008. Closer to a championship, than Jets are.
What he put up last year is fact. What you want him to do this year is a projection. But I now know why many people just ignore your posts. They are just full out fantasy scenarios for you. It doesn't matter that Russell or McFadden have NOT produced in the NFL, by your calculation they are both going to lead the league this year. Here is one thing I will project. McFadden will have at least 5 fumbles this year if he has over 150 touches. Go ahead and use this thread later, I might be off. It might be closer to 7 or 8 fumbles.
NO Raiderjeaux gets banned. This board would be a ghost board. DO you see the little traffic around here. MY comments have generated other post.
I never said the Jets would have a smash mouth OL. I'm not even sure the Jets will have a reasonably mediocre OL. Best guess is the Jets will be improved but pretty much a 500 team within a game one way or the other? I'm pretty sure the Raiders will be loaded with underachieving talent that doesn't mesh the reason being they have been organizational disfunctional at the top since their 02 team fell apart. Having some really good pieces without the organizational ability to mesh it into a team is a recipe for dissaster no matter how good the talent. There is also little doubt that you have vastly over rated the Raiders talent and under rated the leagues talent. It's not your fault because you are clearly a fanatical fan who is incapable of making close to a rational comparative observation when it comes to your own team. Not a bad thing for a fan, it can get you through a decade or 4.
I've no axe to grind with you Joe, but you must be some kind of glutten for punishment. Your first point Didn't people say the very same things about Reggie Bush? I'll grant you that DMC is good, maybe even very good. He hasn't set foot on the field, yet you are building him up to be some kind of super hero. None of us, even you don't know how he will do, as we don't know wheather Gholston will live up to his tag as being 'all that.' Your second point I agree that our secondary LAST YEAR wasn't as good as it could have been, but then that would be unfair to single them out, when often they were laid bare by poor pass rush. But now we have a very good second year MLB, a huge NT, Pace etc..... you get the picture. Ok, you can't run against us, even with DMC who wears a cape . Go on pass then, why would be want to drop our 'big' DE/OLB package? Half our problem last year was getting to the QB, by either sack/hurry. This year I believe that by upgrading the front 7 the secondary will also step up , but its not an exact science so we will see won't we.
Holy fuck! you have to be on some serious meds....I fear that the good folks on this board (myself included) are getting more stupid after reading every post you make....maybe you should go trolling in Patriot country, they would love turds like you....you can tell them how great Tommy Kelly's knees are...and the Pats posters can tell you that Belichick is the 2nd coming of Christ. In regards to your comments...We've tasted playoffs under Mangini's regime. You've guys have tasted..well...a shit sandwich. That shit sandwich must be starting to taste good after 6 years eh, Jeaux? Getting used to that sultry smell, I would assume. The Raiders will have a better record than the Jets in 2008? based on what...half your roster suffers from torn ACL syndrome. Closer to a championship?? dude, that's the knee-slapper of the century. Win some fucking games first...you know....babysteps. Work your way up to a .500 record...that's a healthy goal for the Raiders to start with.
I gave you facts, The Raiders were the sixth best team rushing the football. NOw they added one of the best backs in college football, who played in the toughest conference in America. You can call it whatever you like. Raiders were the sixth best rushing team (repeat it again)and thats without upgrading the position, with Mcfadden and Bush. They have the best set of Fbs with J Griffith and Oren ONeal, An allround te that can do it all, in Zach Miller. Russell I never said was going to put up big numbers in 2008. He dosen't have to as he has that proven running game to lean on. Raiders running game going to set upothere passing offense. Mcfadden won't have any where close to that many fumbles. Raiders corrected his grip. See Tiki Barber. We will look at this thread later in the season.
I predict that the Raiderjeaux HOF thread is going to draw most of it's posts from this thread this summer.
What to make a wager on this one. I say Raiders have a better 2008 record than New York Jets. A donation in that amount to this site.(what we agree on) SO I ask you do we have a Bet.
Here's the wager: You win....well that's not gonna happen. I win....you shave in the Jets' logo above your vagina. fucking bets....yeah, I'm gonna make a bet with some retarded lunatic that can't tell a Jets forum from a Raiders forum.
That is not a fact at all. The Raiders had the 6th most rushing yards they had the 4th most attempts, 11th in rushing average per attempt and 18th in rushing TD's. How does that make them the 6th best rushing team in the NFL? If they were a good running team you would expect them to be higher in rushing yards against the league than they are in rushing attempts against the league but the opposite seems to be the case.
Winston, don't waste your breath...it's like trying to teach a one-legged dog to kick himself in the ass.
First off looking at R Bush and D Mcfadden size wouldn't you say there is a little diffrence between them. Not even a valid comparison. Mcfadden coming to ther perfect situation in oakland. HAs the proven blocking system(Denver) , Two stud FBs , A do everything TE and some very big physical Wrs. All those parts make up a well oiled running machine. Sure you can never predict injury but If Mcfadden stays healthy, I expect him to put up tremendous numbers whether its as a Runner, or a reciever. Your second Point. Like the Raiders you couldn't stop anyone running game. So you really didn't see teams really attacking your secondary. IF as expected your run defense is improved, than you can bet you will see how good that secondary is. Teams will find that Number 2 cb all day long. Im On record stating that your going to have trouble stopping anyone passing game.
Nothing- don't like the Ponies/ Broncos. Maybe if the horse was called silver and black. It would be diffrent.
I am dumber now for reading this thread. Raider Joe - Get lost. Jet fans - Smarten up, his rambling is not worth a single post. Save it for educated fans. Now that we have 3 pages of non-sense, Joe will continue posting on our thread.. Just don't respond and he will have no need to stay.
Can I take that to the bank, jeaux? All that stuff you said? Because every time I take one of your other predictions to the bank the check bounces. I love watching the befuddlement of the Raiders year-in and year-out. They remind me of the Bengals in the 90s. Always had some really nice superstar players but the organization was such a laughable joke that they never have hope of truly becoming contenders. Hell, the Raiders might even remind me of a few Jets teams of the past, woeful and incompetent from the top down. I think you have a good DCoord, but these days you need more than that. I'm gonna go cash in some raiderjeaux bizarro dollars at Chuck E. Cheese soon.
