The same reason I wouldn't want Tom Brady on the Jets. I hate him and would never be able to root for him. Send him to the Raiders and let him rot.

Thumbs down to all the fans who would not mind him on the team. Crazy talk.

Good point actually. I was amazed that he thinks a few weeks on that dancing show will lead to great movie roles. Hey Jason, you have to be able to act, not just flex in front of the camera.

Hard to say what is going to happen here. Parcells, as we know, is one stubborn Dude. I just don't see him just letting Taylor walk. I heard on South Florida talk radio the other day that Taylor makes about 8 million. Is anyone going to take his contract, and cough up a high draft pick for a player that has 1, tops two years left?

It would have to be a team that thinks it is one pass rusher away form winning the Super Bowl. A lot of damage has been done between The Tuna and Taylor, I don't know if it can be repaired at this point. They may just have to deal with one another for another season. Taylor is one of those guys that has a hard time keeping his mouth shut. This should be fun to watch.

If Taylor was 28 I would take him in a heart beat, but not now.

Maybe he should start his movie career like Sly Stallone in the male porn movies.

I don't think Taylor would have much of a career in Hollywood. I mean just look at the Rock. He hasn't really had any memorable roles. He should stick to football.

The Scorpion King, Walking Tall, Be Cool, besides being the most electrifying man in sports entertainment...wtf are you talking about? He has put Boz's career to shame.

On a side note...I thought the guy who Johnny Drama asked about his calf muscles at one of the parties in Entourage was Taylor, but I checked the credits and they didn't mention him...looked like him though.

If he could find lip gloss and eye shadow that matches the Jets uniform then I think he'd consider playing here.

For the record, I wouldn't want him here. He's definitely an impact player though. If not for him the Phins might not have won that game they did last season.

So having typed my initial response without reading the responses, and having now read said responses, I am saddened and disgusted, and ashamed to be a Jets fan right now. Have you all lost your minds?

He was expecting to get flamed, and deservedly so. Since the rest of you were asleep at the wheel I took it upon myself to oblige.

Taylor is one hell of a player. If he was a Jet, we would have the best pass rushing defense in football. He would help us win more games, and possibly even a Super Bowl.

I know we've had our problems with JT over the years, but he's largely considered a class act. He's never been in problems with the law, never been implicated in steroids. He's just an upstanding guy, and I'd take him anyday.

There is no player in the history of the league that has talked as much shit about the Jets and their fans than Jason Taylor. I shouldn't have to tell you that.

He was on a dancing show, a show where could easily be injured (someone has been every season), instead of practicing with the team. You would want a guy with those priorities?

I'll take the thug if he's football first, thug second.

I think his love of money far outweighs his hatred of us. Just like my love of winning far outweighs my hatred of The Fins. So, if the dude can help us win, it's all good with me. Hey, Curtis Martin was once a Patriot.

He can eat one. The only place he'll fit in NY is Chelsea...and maybe the Village.
