Ryan Church (head) says that he could be back in the lineup as soon as Thursday. A CT scat on Church came back clean on Tuesday night, meaning he didn't suffer a concussion as originally reported. He did say that he was briefly knocked out, but that the only symptom he's still feeling is a headache.

so more than likely this team will be below .500 at the end of the weekend, yet Willie will believe he holds absolutely no responsibility for that and will tout the fact that the Mets aren't in last place as a testament to his ability, as if he is being judged solely on the merit of being better than just the Washington Nationals (which the Mets arguably aren't considering we can't beat them either).
Pretty sure this has more to do with the Mets propensity for acquiring old, broken down players then a uniform curse.
