Its 75 bucks man, who cares. I am gonig to get a gholston Jersey and a Pace Jersey. In my mind guys don't have things to spoil themselves with like chicks due. Jersey's are the one thing a guy can collect, he has LTs old number that is sick. I say get it. I have a Nugent Jersey (which I get so many compliments on it is rediculous) and a Harris jersey which I love as well (even though NFL messed up the color on the numbers) either way I want the Pass Rushers this year. If I was a big big dude I would get a Fanecca or Jenkins, the safest jersey of all though---- RHODES-- he will be a stud for life.
I wear jerseys. I am a big fat guy. Yes, I do want to be like them. I want their money, fame, and women. They have that, and I have an account on a message board. Yes, I want to be like them. Yes, I will continue to buy football jerseys.
Wow. You really told me. You must have some real hot lady if she's the kinda gal that gets turned on by a guy wearing the jersey of a better-looking, more physically fit, much richer man. She's probably just imagining you're the guy whose jersey it really is rather than the guy who just wants to be like him. As for my sweatshirt, no where did I imply that I haven't bought any other Jets gear since 1989...I merely said that's what I wear when I watch a game. As for the question asking if you can be like me, the answer is probably not. I'm likely far more educated and successful than you. But if you to buy a sweatshirt from 1989, get an Ivy League undergrad education and a degree from a top-10 law school, you'll be well on your way. Cheers.
...with bad hands, cannot run a precise pattern and who misses more work than he attends due to a sore hammy?
dude wtf are u talking about, watching a football game is not about women, its about being with your dude friends. What girl do you know religiously follows football as much as any of us. If there was one i dont think she would care that you are wearing the jersey of a better looking man. anyways, i think im going to just get a revis jersey cuz he is a certified stud and with the new pass rush he should rack up the ints.
If you read the thread, you'll see that I wasn't the one that brought up sex or women, I was responding to other coments that did. I acutally don't know many women that watch as religiously as any of us. I watch the games with 4 friends that, like myself, are New York transplants. Two of those guys bring their wives and one of them is as big a Jets fan as any of us so it's like having another dude there. My intent in my first post was to show my disdain for jersey wearing. Some people got offended, which is natural, though not what I had intended. Then the attacks started, which was expected, but I'm fine with it. Cheers.
First of all, I don't think where you are coming from is that crazy. I haven't bought a jersey since 2000 when I was 22. I am down to two jerseys- an authentic Natrone Means (Chargers) and a Marlon Barnes replica (Colorado). (Barnes would go on to play one year with the Bears.) I'm not into wearing jerseys these days. I guess my biggest problem is I don't like jerseys unless they are authentic (I only wear that Colorado one for bumming around) and the authentic ones are terribly expensive. Then you look like an idiot if you paid $300+ on an authentic jersey and the player leaves via free agency a year or two later. But I have a question for you. You are belitting other posters for wearing jerseys with other men's names on them, but here you are using a handle of Nu'u Fa'aola. You see what I'm sayin'? Unless you are Fa'aloa himself, you sort of come off looking ridiculous in this thread.
That is a valid question, and I'll answer it by saying that I believe choosing an ironic screen name and avatar for a message board is much different than wearing a jersey out in "real world" or out in public. I don't walk around town with my little Nu'u picture taped to my chest. You may disagree, and that's your right. I chose Nu'u because he's perhaps the most ridiculous Jet of all time.
Forget about that poster (Nu Fa'aolla). He shouldn't be adding his opinion on this post. No one cares. Wearing a jersey as an adult doesn't make you a tool. making comments about it does however. Buy the Gholston jersey. He is going to be a good one. I have a question regarding a jersey. Does anyone know where I can buy a customized authentic 1984 home Jets jersey? I want to put my favorite player from my childhood (Ken O'Brien #7) but having difficulty in locating a store that does this type of work.
You're the coolest man alive. Half man, half god, half...possible centaur. You could be the gene therapy son of James Dean and Chuck Norris, or Jack Nicholson and Brett Favre, or all of them, I'm not sure. All I know is that I wish you were my dad.

I know a guy like him in the office. For some reason, it isn't okay to have heroes. Who cares. Basically, he thinks about it too much. I look at it as a sign of support for my favorite team.
I am 40 and wear my authentic Palmer jersey every game day my wife also wears a Palmer jersey.i know some of you will probably say I am to old to wear the jersey but its a ritual we do every Sunday. When I wear the jersey I am not trying to be Palmer I am wearing to support the Bengals.Everybody has their opinion on the matter and this is how I feel.
