I like Danny boy a lot. Mattison could turn out to be a fine DE and I think he may be a surprising performer late in games. He's really good against the run and although he's slow he's relentless. Lyles is a good tackler who is very good against the run and so-so in coverage. I was hoping we'd pick up Michael Grant instead. I don't know anything about the others.

I've followed Marcus Dixon for years. This kid got screwed an absolute miscarriage of justice. The Jets should give him a shot. My gut tells me he just might make it.:jets:

I was hoping for Darius Reynaud, WR, West Virginia(developmental at Receiver), but then again Chansi Stuckey is coming off an injury and with Brad Smith developing there is likely no need

wow. ive been to tallahassee. ive seen the kids whole career. ive watched him in person. hes no fucking jerry rice.

and its not what they said about jerry rice.

"Gaudy statistics drew pro scouts to Jerry Rice when he played for obscure Mississippi Valley State. His pass-catching skills sold them on his potential. His MVP performance in the Blue-Gray all-star game sealed the analysis: Rice was worth a first-round draft pick."

the only issues were that he came from a no name conference and was part of a spread offense, jerry rice went 16th overall, right? exactly.

pass me what your smoking please.

Do you think that Danny Woodhead would have been drafted if he were not white?

I'm not being racist here...ust wondering if white RBs face similar obstacles as black QBs a few years ago.

No way. He wasn't drafted because he was small and played on a lower level. He could surprise, but chances are, he won't. I'll root for him, but he's still got an uphill battle. I could see him on the PS though.

They should bring him & some other DE/DT's in for a look see. Also.....Jets did a very nice signing of the FB Jehuu Caulcrick, Michigan State...This guy is a beast in short yardage. He's a big north/south power back. He should make team. Jets' also let go of some marginal players ...Kozlowski & Tubbs. Hopefully Chatham & Kassell are gone soon. Jets' have too many marginal players on there team. They need a major talent infusion upgrade.
