Who do you guys think is the Jets biggest draft bust of the last few years (2000-2007). My money's on Robertson. What a waste.

    Robertson, hands down.

Honorable mentions for Anthony Schlegel, Derrick Strait, Victor Hobson, Jon McGraw, and Anthony Becht.

No way I put Becht in that group, only because while he had stone hands, he is probably one of the best blocking TE's to ever play the game.

I'd put Bryan Thomas up there only if you consider that he failed miserably at his original position and that we only saw decent play in his contract year. Otherwise, he has not exicted me.

I think Nugent was the stupidest pick. A kicker in the 2nd round..? Absolutely a waste pick.

Thomas had one semi productive year. Robertson...he's a bust because they traded up to get him...and he was the fourth pick overall. Fourth pick...should have much better production. Was that a Bradway mistake?

Lamont Jordan, Anthony Becht, Bryan Thomas, Dewayne Robertson, Victor Hobson, B.J. Askew, Anthony Sledgel, Mike Nuggent.....I hope we dont have to add Justin Miller, Kellen Clemons and Vernon Gholston to that list

How can you say Lamont was a bust? He didn't see any playing time behind CMART.I don't see mid-round guys falling into the "bust" category, as the expectations of them aren't nearly as great as those in the first round or two.

im calling him a bust b/c he isnt on the team anymore...it was a bust on the jets behalf not Lamont Jordans and i will add Randt Thomas and Kareem Mckenzie to that list b/c they are not on our roster....more Jets mistakes

When someone says "bust" it is usually in the context of their gameplay while on the team. You can't call the guy a bust because he didn't see meaningful playing time behind one of the best RB's to ever play the game. That's just bad luck, and the fact that the FO didn't want two large RB contracts on the books.

Losing Thomas and McKenzie hurt the team, but they played well up until the time they left. Again, not busts.

Jon McGraw. 2nd round choice, had the one pick against Denver, and that's it.

Don't forget the Pagel signing, where the FO was trying to convince itself that if they singed enough white safeties, one of them would turn out to be the next John Lynch.

DRob was a 5-year starter, thats not a bust, he was a big underarchier. He even won us a few games singlehadedly, just think about the steelers game last year, where he kicked our new savior?s ass big time. He definitly wasn?t worth those picks, but he wasn?t a bust at all.

I?ll throw Schlegel in there. He didn?t even contribute on specialteams.

Nugent wasn't a bust because he's started for us ever since being drafted, and has turned into a decent kicker.

Thomas is definitely a bust. What a worthless pick.

Guys- DeWayne Robertson is hardly a bust. He played well for us. He didn't fit our current system and was dramatically over paid.

Mike Nugent was selected too high but he's our kicker. Lay off.

    Lamont Jordan? Are you serious?

Hands down, our worst bust is Bryan Thomas. Thomas has the unique distinction of being a bust under two regimes- drafted by Herm/Bradway, resigned under Tangini. Bust, bust. Gholston gets the job by September.
