    hi!

long time in here. I was at draft outside studio where Ray lukas (??) former Jet was reporting. I met him!!

I think the draft was positive for the Jets but I wanted Mcfadden because everyone says he is best player.

but I think we can beat Patriots maybe next year!

C'mon. Is Philip Rivers better than our QB's? I barely think Eli is. Jet fans as a whole gotta stop being Nancy boys and waiting for everything to be perfect. We have good coaching and good players . I think we are better than the Giants as well. We just need to get on a run. Lets start it by winning some home games and getting behind this organization for once. What else do they have to do? NEW Stadium. Check. New practice facilities. Check. First class free agents. check. Three good drafts in a row.check. Sounds like a bunch of battered wives around here. We are the friggin young guns. Bigger, faster, stronger and smarter.REGULAATORRS!!!!!!!(y.g.)

I know bro. Just trying to pump in some positive energy. But honestly there are 3-4 Great QB's in this league, everyone other contender is in the same boat. Except this boat has a major D and some heat seekers. If Clemens is a mediocre QB we go 9-7. If he's as good as I think he can be, we are the Beasts of the East. I'm pumped up. If a fan has a gripe with this organization after this off season, you should pick a new team. I would have loved DMC, but he was a luxury, not a necessity for this team next year.

We haven't closed A THING until The JETS get out there and actually BEAT the Cheatriots, and other teams on GAME DAY, during the REGULAR season, period, POINT BLANK.

This team did WELL during the off season, but there are still a lot of 'ifs' surrounding this team.

If Clemens or Penny can EFFECTIVELY and EFFICIENTLY run this team
If Pace can pan out to be almost or EQUALLY as good as A.Thomas
If Damien Woody can continue to repeat his success @ R.T.
If Gholston can emerge as the STUD DE/LB that some say he will be
    If, If, If...

This team has A LOT of potential IF a lot of things happen.

I am confident our team will DEFINITELY be better than 4 - 12, but will we be more like our 10 - 6 2006 team OR better or just slightly better than our '07 squads?

    We'll see

Lets be optimistic just once. We don't know what Clemens is,but when Chad is healthy and has a good team around him, he is a playoff QB. There is blood in the water and it is the Pats, time for us to be the predators and run them down. We WILL physically dominate them.

I am really ecited about Keller. A TE with game breaking ability, this is exactly what Chad has needed.

This is a team that was 3 mins away from a perfect season. We finished with 4 wins. Hate to break it you, but we are not the best team in the division. And it's not even that close.

With all the addtional players we have added it going to be instresting to see how they play together. It could get down right nasty in the opposing teams back feild. The offense is a questions mark right now. It can be said there will be better protection for the Quarter back , but will this new line be able to open up the holes? It will be nice to see this "NEW" Team rip a hole right in the middle of the Fag Fish!!

We went 4 and 12 last year, NE went 18 and 1. If we didn't close the gap, Mangini and Tannenbaum should be immediately fired. The question is did we close the gap on Buffalo and how much has Miami closed the gap on us?

As much as I'd like to drink the Cool-Aid, we aren't even close to that point yet.

WR- We still don't have a quality #1 wr and our depth is not that great. Brad Smith, Wallace Wright, Chansi Stuckey? They aren't exactly going to make opposing D's quake in their boots. Also consider that Coles is just one or two decent noggin-shots away from early-retirement.

O-Line. We have NO depth. ZERO. The clowns we saw come in last year during spot-duty were putrid. Also consider that our backup center has flown the coop, which means that our starting RT would have to be shifted over to C in the event that Mangold does down. Any one of the 5 suffering an injury lasting more than one play could be disastrous for this team. I hope and pray that we sign some competent depth in the coming months.

QB- Folks like to say that with a better all-around O, Chad will be better. How do you really know this is the case? Who's to say whether he will or will not rise to the level of at least mediocre gameplay? Clemmens is still and unproven and you can't judge him based on last year's play alone- we need another season to evaluate him.

On the D side of the ball, I'll agree that we have improved greatly from last year, at least on paper. Some issues of depth are a concern, specifically in the MLB and DT positions.
Also consider that we still haven't identified our #2 CB and that we could have used an upgrade at the safety position alongside Rhodes. That being said, I am really anxious to see what kind of pressure we can place on our opponents, as this could be the first time in a long while that we actually have a credible pass-rush.

Yes. Are you saying every season plays out the same? Or the same teams are in the playoffs every year? They are 1 injury away from being a .500 team. Just one.

They're more than a Brady injury away from .500... No single player is worth 8 games.

Their front 7 is actually incredible. I think we have a better secondary then them but their front 7 is awesome. With Harris and Gholston we have the potential to match that but with an unproven QB and a decent but not explosive O (love the Marcus Henry pick!, love the Keller pick!) i don't see us over .500
