4-5 speed is as good as a WR. Great height and size, converted WR, I like it.

Didn't need to trade up 6 picks to get him. And if he wasn't on the board they had a great shot at a top WR.

    I'm annoyed.

Was the third rated TE, seems like the Jets have stretched for this one. Classic Jet Fan reaction though, funny as hell, should be added to the Jet Draft Youtube video.

I honestly think this FO is clueless about what it will take for the Jets to compete at a high level.

We don't have a pick now until the 4th round and then not another one until the the 6th round.

Well, what can we get for Baker? I doubt we can get that 4th back for him. We just gave up on a high round WR, a LB, and a QB. Who are we targeting now with the 4th? We've got a LOOOONG time to figure it out.

I mean I understand we need a weapon but we could have kept the 4th round pick honestly. Were they really afraid of NYG taking a TE in event of a Shockey deal?

Dude, what the hell were they thinking?

Stay at 36. = get a tall, corner/fade/post/fly route WR
package the 2 4ths together to move into the 3rd to get a TE if you really see the need. John Carlson might be there.

That was horrible. Plus Keller would have likely been there at 36.

Also, NFL Network just showed a clip of Keller not making a play and the ball going by him and getting covered pretty well, and the guy says "and makes the catch"

No doubt, but we haven't exactly gotten the TE as involved in our offense as we should to merit this pick. Hopefully that'll change now.

They said the Smurfs would've gotten Keller if they trade Shockey. But Shockey is still there.

NFL Network is kicking ESPN's tail. They know the picks a few minutes before ESPN.

Kinda funny how the Jets moved into the spot the Patties were supposed to pick from.
