We would have picked 4th, now we won't get Long or Run DMC b/c we won a bs game against the Chiefs in week 17. Damn it, this team can't even lose properly.
What fuckin stupidity and a waste of a thread. You really expect a team full of pro competitors to go out and lose purposely? On the last day of the season and have that sit in their minds for months?
Relax. Just because you pick a high draft pick, doesn't mean the player is going to be good. Everyone thought Reggie Bush was going to be lights out, well, he isn't. No reason to bitch until you see the player drafted on the field for awhile, and see if he was worth the pick.
Sorry the draft is a crapshoot, we were saying the same thing after the Reggie Bush Bowl and getting Brick and Mangold was much better than getting Bush. Besides I'd rather push Herm one step closer to getting fired......
how many posters were on here saying that they'd take the win over the draft position any day??? lol. i wonder if they feel the same way now or differently. looks like we may be stuck with ryan.
When Oakland gets run DMC and we're stuck with buts Gholston or McKelvin who will be the next Dewayne Robertson, who are the fools now?
You're an idiot if you expect the players to mail it in in hopes of getting a better draft pick, and if the coach told them to he would lose total control of the locker room. Moron.
You're a disgrace to every REAL Jets fan. I can't understand how you can want your "favorite" team to lose.
So what we don't get DMC?Is he that much better than Stewart, Mendenhall or Jones?I will love the option of trading the 6th pick to Saints/Bengals or pick Gholston.Hopefully when we play the Raiders and DMC fumbles three times, you bi$%^$# will continue crying about us WINNING against KC.Grow up you sissies.
...because both of those guys will be under-sized nose tackles in the 3-4. I can't wait for the draft to be over so all of these idiots can leave again.
And you are so sure McFadden is a great player. Who's to say the ones who have stated that McFadden has "light legs" and goes down real easy on contact are right? You must forget Blair Thomas.
Whos a "fool" in this situation? WOuld it have been better if the Jets lost? Today..yes. But you are saying players should have lost puposely for a draft pick and that is beyond fukin retarded. If i were a pro i wouldn't go lose so we could possibly get a pick that just may replace me.
The fools will always be the ones who hope that their team loses a game/games in order to draft a player who may or not be special.YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME, NOT LOSE THE GAME.
Honestly im not sad we won that game at the time yeah id rather us not win that game but if u are a professional athlete u dont lose on purpose for nothing, u have not herat or desire if u do that.
are you drunk already? you never ever ever lose a game on purpose, you think the players are worried about what pick there gonna have in the draft? im glad we won week 17 especialy cause it was at home and against herm
Yes, because we all remember that one draft where the first 5 players to be picked all became perennial pro bowlers and every pick after that accomplished nothing in the NFL . . .
I have a GREAT idea! Lets lose all 16 games in 2008 on purpose so we are guarenteed the first pick in the 2009 draft!!!!!!
