If Dorsey gets past ATL, we are getting Gholston or Run DMC.

Because if Oak takes McFadden, then theres no way the Chiefs let Dorsey drop....

Or at the very least, OAK or KC trades with NO regarding Dorsey. Ryan to ATL is BIG and I love it.

Me thinks Rams would be foolish for taking Long over Dorsey. I think that if they keep the pick they go Dorsey.

I would not be suprised to see Gholston and Ryan on the board and the Jets take a different player all together like McKelvin, Rivers or Cromartie.

Rams need to take Dorsey, he's the better pick.

I still think Jerry Jones is going to trade up for DMC... with the trade they made with Miami yesterday, it just seems like they're stack up picks to package.

If Dorsey goes No.3, my guess is we're stuck with Ryan or a trade down scenario.

On second thought, lets trade with Dallas! Put the pressure on Jerry Jones. On third thought, if McFadden's sitting at No.6, we'll draft him and not trade the pick.

Atlanta really controlls the draft right now.

If they take Ryan we will hopfully get McFadden, but if they take Dorsey we may be picking at 6 with Gholston and McFadden already off the board.

    Stuck with a franchise QB?

Jets fans are too used to having average QBs.

We spent a ton of money this offseason, not to draft a rookie qb who will take 2-3 year to develope and I don't think he will be much more then a good nfl qb.

Vins, do you think Ryan is a franchise quarterback?

I think Clemens is just as good as Ryan.

Would I have said that if I didn't think he was?

Ryan isn't even my 3rd choice to pick at 6... (Long, Gholston DMC) but i definitely wouldn't be pissed off if he was what was left.

So if C.Long goes to the Rams at 2, M.Ryan goes to ATL at 3, McFadden goes to Oakland at 4, Gholston goes to the Chiefs at 5, then Dorsey falls to us at 6.I say we trade him to the Saints.Assuming of course the Saints do not trade with KC.

As I recall, Jaws was a big advocate for Kellen Clemens....

Maybe "stuck" was the wrong word, but it's not a great choice for this team...in my opinion.

Ryan is a kid who will start his rookie season for most squads. I agree with you that he isn't the guy i want to pick, but I think Jets fans overreact about picking a QB.

Matty, I'm with you, he isn't the best pick, or the second best pick... but if we're at 6, not trading down and our big 3 are gone.. He isn't going to be a nightmare. Just my two cents on it...

I'm far from a QB expert... I said Eli Manning would never ever win a Superbowl

If I were to attend the draft, picking Ryan would not inspire me to boo...Still, it's hard to wrap my head around picking a quarterback after all the talk of running back and pass rusher.
There's a lot of pressure for a Top 6 QB, especially in New York, and moreso for the Jets fan base.
Success isn't about making the playoffs, because in reality Pennington gave us that and it wasn't enough. With all the injuries, that's fine by me...just sayin'.
