McFadden is one player that improves entire offense.

I am nowhere near an expert on these matters, but I feel like I've seen analysis on this board on how many first round RB's are either total busts or get career-threatening injuries. Didn't we take Blair Thomas in the 1st Round?

All HW/strategy- if he is there, we will take him- he is the best value at 6. But if we get offers for him, we are moving down.

Smokescreen to get somebody to trade up ahead of us to take Mcfadden and drop Chris Long into our laps, at least, I hope and pray so.

Drafting DMC torpedoes our current running back corps. Jones has 2-3 years left max, but drafting DMC means bye bye to Leon, or at least bye bye to him seeing the field on offense.

Leading to a low impact trade or outright release at the end of his rookie contract. Only to get picked up by NE to be the long term replacement for Kevin Faulk, burning us 2-3 times a year just like Faulk did.

We need a guy that can handle the ball 25 times a game and move a pile into the endzone from inside the 5 yard line. TJ just isnt that guy, and DMC isnt either.

    No, no, no and no.

Pass on him, draft gholston at six. Our RB situation is fine with TJ/Leon plus the run blocking is much improved now. Fill a need.

Chris Long would be hard to pass up if he fell in our laps at 6. He seems to be as close to a can't miss prospect as you will find these days. Would like to see Long or McFadden.

Gholston's inconsistency scares me. Plus he hasn't done that much until this past season. We have enough overrated guys who take plays off (DeWayne Robertson, although that may be due to fatboy's lack of conditioning and blubber.)...

Imagine if the Chiefs traded down by taking both the cowboys 1st round picks + a later round pick. They'd have 3 first round picks.

please draft mcfadden. I would be ecstatic if he falls to 6. I personally think mcfadden is the top player on the jets board. He would be such an impact player and could instantly improve the offense.

Well guess what McFadden, we wont be taking, so you think wrong. No matter what it comes down to the Jets will not draft this kid.

    Theres no chance in hell.

    You're totally wrong.

We have our running game intact. Its Thomas Jones with a slice of Leon Washington running behind Tony Richardson and a better offensive line.

There is no way we take McFadden, none what so ever so guys get off of him already.

WTF? Name me one play that D-Rob took off. One play.

You can bash the guy all you want, no one on that Jets team has worked harder to play a position that he does not fit. Its not his fault Mangini was an idiot and tired to play him where he was 30 pounds under weight.

At least get it right before you bash him. Robertson never took any plays off.

Rachel Nichols of ESPN reported that McFadden told the Jets that his sister would be moving in with him to keep him out of trouble wherever he lands.

    I'm sold.
