I'm getting sick of the darksiders, Chad haters, and negative attitudes...on The GangGreen.......

.....as long-time Jets fans we have suffered a lot during the last 40+ years, but during the last decade we have had a LOT to cheer about and be proud of......no longer being a perennial doormat is a positive....not heaing Jets jokes on Leno is also great......so we had a miserable year in 07....the FO has done a great job this off-season attempting to turn it around....I will stay opptomistic that 08 is a possible playoff year.....

.....BUT I'm getting very annoyed coming on this site (which I love) and read the NEGATIVE, PESSIMISTIC, IMMATURE CRAP that some of the idiots on here post...I realize that every franchise has it's sare of loser fans, but for some reason we seem to have many "Village Idiots" on this site who bash Chad (even when he does something charitable, like donating $$$$)....can the Mods do something about these jerks??? I realize it is also a free country with free speech, but are some of you also getting sick of these losers?????

In my book, a loser is defined as somebody who is content with losing....

So I'd have to say that the people who are pushing for a real change at QB, who are tired of mediocrity, are probably the polar opposite of losers....

    That's just my opinion though...

I'll agree with one thing. Bashing Chad serves no constructive purpose whatsoever. It's not like the more negative things said here will bear any weight at all with who is the QB when the season starts. All it serves to do is make a lot of people on one side of the issue or the other look pretty foolish when the decision is ultimately made.

I think it is certainly possible to discuss opinions while taking advantage of the actual plays of the games.

Just parroting anger, frustration, and disappointment in the form of "Final Conclusions" though is self-defeating, in my book.

I think the FO and CS of the NYJ have done an admirable job thus far this off-season.

There is an awful lot more work to do -- they have barely gotten started.

There is far too much concern on this "Message Board" with the skill players.

The NYJ's real deficiencies have been on the line of scrimmage (both offense and defense) for a long time, in my opinion. Until these grave problems are really solved (and we won't know this until after most of next season is played out), we should not leave any stone unturned.

I find its out of the boredom of this time of the season. The bashing has been through mid-march to now, one of the down-times in the NFL. Negativity grows with impatience, as well as being a fan of this franchise.

Chad bashing will continue. There is no stopping it, unfortunately. Even I am guilty of doing it. It stems from the pain of last year, and the pick 6's at the end of a few games. It has grown with the questions at QB this year as well. No team has done well without a sure-fire #1 QB. We fear that, we fear last year repeating at the QB position. All I want is stability, and i know everyone can agree with that.

Once the draft passes the optimism will happen again. Draft Day is one of the most optimistic times in the NFL, because the guy chosen may be the next legendary HOF.

This is a result of another conversation about "Blogs" versus "Message Boards" versus "Forums", etc.

I'm a Pro-Chad fan, but he must stop with the interceptions.

The concept is, Chad's weak arm is offset by his quick decision-making and his accuracy.

If Chad can't keep the INTs under 0.5 per game (8 for the year), he's not worth playing over Clemens and his "upside" (let's hope there is some.)

Optomistic GG poster over the years.
Ty Law makes us a SB contender.

Daniel Snyder is an idiot owner for trying to buy a SB you build through the draft.

The Giants over paid for K-Mack we can easily replace him

Chad is so much better than Eli

Thomas Jones makes us the most improved team in the division

    Randy Moss is a malcontent

The Pats over paid for Welker

I love picking Nugent he makes us an instant contender.

Can you believe we got Jolly and still got Nugent and Miller who we would have picked in the first round.

Ferguson wasn't that good it was DRob next to him with Vilma behind him.

Mods can you please do something about the optimistic, positive, immature crap that sunshiner’s plaster on this board every off season.

How about DeW with the bone on bone condition? Some just do not seem to be able to analyze how mismanaged this team has been thru out the years. You could also bring up the "newest" regime last years evulation of our talent if you chose to dig just under the surface

So in your book whiners = winners? There is a difference between constuctive criticism and whining.

I beleive what the TC is talking about is the people that constantly whine and flame our team and see everything from a negative point of view.

    and

Poeple that think their opinions are the only valid ones and flame anyone who disagrees with them.

I'm not a pessimist. I'm a fatal realist. There is a difference, you know.

Being a Jets fan, there is an underlying and unifying current. Getting kicked in the teeth, we like that sort of thing. And that's what seperates die-hards from dabblers. We keep coming back for more, because someday our ship will come in (again for some, for the first time for others). No matter that the ship will sink and we'll all drown at sea like rats. Hehe.

Anyone who thinks Chad is the answer does not like change, their goal is to make the playoffs as a wild card and cares what players say and feel. If not feeling that way is negative/loser mentallity, then I am all in.
