I wouldn't suprised. But as long as one of the 3 prospects that are popular on this board fall to us, i think we're all happy.

I would love McFadden to fall to us, but would also be fine with either C. Long, or Gholston.

Either Long, Gholston or McFadden would be great. Thing is I don't believe Oakland will stay at #4 so it depends on who they trade with to see how this shakes out.

If we get McFadden, My dad promised me an authentic jersey. I am an Arkansas Razorback Fan and while watching McFadden play, I was simply amazed as most people were.

I'm also not sold on McFadden going to Oakland.

Oakland has 6 RB's and yes they could use them as trade bait but I really don't see that happening.

I also don't see Dallas trading up with us. I see Dallas holding onto there pick and trying to pick up a WR with the 22 then if Felix Jones is still there taking Jones with the 28th.

Terrell Owens is 35 years old, he's getting old and facing retire in 1-2 more seasons, They need some new Wideouts.

Terry Glenn is 33 and has only 3-4 more seaons left.

Dallas keeping there pick to pick a Wideout is a VERY high possibility.

They only have 4, unless you're counting fullbacks and practice squad guys, only 2 of them are worth mentioning.

Justin Fargas who is a solid back, and Michael Bush who has potential, but is still unproven. We have Thomas Jones and Leon Washington and we just got Jesse Chatman who, if nothing else, will be a capable backup, so if you think the Jets will take McFadden there is no reason to think the Raiders wouldn't

Saying the Raiders won't take McFadden because of the guys they already have is like saying the Jets won't take Gholston because of Bryan Thomas.

Excellent post. You can't rule out other teams taking McFadden or another player because of their depth, they are trying to set themselves up for BPA as much as the Jets are. Just look at New Orleans. They took McCallister when they had Ricky Williams and then took Reggie Bush when they had McCallister.

That's not my main point, The Raiders have two runningbacks as you mentioned that one is solid(Justin Fargas) and Michael Bush who is unproven. I didn't mention this in this thread although the Raiders need Defensive Line help more than anything. They were 31st in Rushing YPG in the NFL so I see them drafting a DL over a RB.

    Oakland RBs:
    42 ReShard Lee
    29 Michael Bush
    34 LaMont Jordan
    25 Justin Fargas
    33 Dominic Rhodes
    20 Adimchinobi Echemandu

Oakland and BPA is bs imo. If Al Davis wants to keep his team and remain a team owner he needs to fix his team as soon as he can. Al Davis is known for selecting the BPA but I see him trying to fix his franchise and taking an DL.

yea with dorsey working out now i think hes a lock to go top 5 which is great news for us. Now if Either another tackle besides Jake Long Matt Ryan or Sedrick Ellis go top 5. We are guaranteed a player we want.

Nobody is questioning the Raiders' needs, but it's Al Davis we are talking about here. Nobody likes to make a statement more than that dried-out buzzard carcass. None of the names on that list truly stand out to me as a statement player and if McFadden is there when they pick I wouldn't rule him out at all.

Who taught you about ownership? Do you really think bad decisions as an owner gets you ousted? What planet do you live on? Al Davis can draft Jamie Silva 4th overall and keep him team. He can do what he pleases.
