Dewayne Robertson -DL- Jets Mar. 20 - 8:36 am et

Trade talks between the Broncos and Jets involving DL Dewayne Robertson are beginning to "peter out," according to Newsday.

Robertson failed his physical and Denver is strapped for cash. The team released eight operations staff members on Wednesday, including web site editor Andrew Mason, who did an excellent job. Robertson would also require a new contract if he was acquired. He may now be cut this summer.

Had to figure that was the case. We should just cut him now. Absorb the cap hit and not pay the 3 million roster bonus due June 1st.

Thinking about it some more, isn't there some sort of cap waiver you can get when people end up on the PUP list?

Terry Bradway has now surpassed Salman Rushdie as the most sought-after hit on the planet.

So the guy's knee has deteriorated to the point where he can't even finish his contract with us; nice job Bradway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there is still some use for him, he must restructure or he is gone shortly after draft day.

We traded up to get a guy with a bad knee knowing full well that his position will place demands on the knee all the time; just brilliant

I think we have to can Bradway at some point soon, too. Maybe he can scout for the Pats.

Just cut him. I am tired of hearing about him already. We need to get rid of these problems from the past. We have done a good job of it already this recently, trading Vilma an injured LB that doesn't fit the defensive system, cutting McDroptheBallAgain, working to extend Coles to shut him up, and not to mention a new stadium and training facility. Just cut DRob and trade Pennington and lets start moving forward.

This team is on the upswing, we are infusing alot of new and young talent. Lets not get dragged backwards with these problems from the last dumbass regime.

At this point we either take the cap hit and close all ties, or let him play until both legs fall off...

The interesting thing is that he's failed physicals this year but he's been quite durable for us- I don't think that he's missed a game yet.

While I don't see a great fit for us, there is no doubting that he has played through his knee problems and played well for being miscast.

I think we cut him. I hope another team gives him a chance because he has been good and can still have an impact somewhere. Sucks big time that we will end up gettign nothing out of him at this point.

All right. Stop with the Bradway shit. He is not even our GM. Its time to move on. We wouldn't receive much for him anyway. The most important thing is we finally replaced him with the right type of player, we filled 5 starting postions before the draft ( 2-ol, DL, LB and FB) we are not in cap hell and we have a great #1 slot and plenty of picks. This will not kill is. THE GLASS IS HALF FULL. STOP WITH THE JOE BENINGO SCHTICK!!!!

iirc, he missed the last few games of the '05 season because of that knee.

All may not be lost. We could still pick up Denver's web site editor.

Why do people keep saying things like this? Don't you understand that you can't play as in you are not allowed to play if you can't pass a physical? He has now flunked two..Cincinnati and Denver...that would mean he isn't going to pass anybody's. He is done just as Curtis Martin was two years ago.

I can see him restructuring if he wants to play ball. If he doesn't he knows it could be over. It's up to him.

So he's gonna retire? He only missed a couple of games in '05, I seriously doubt that nobody picks him up after he's cut.
