I can see where the resentment comes from. Controversy is one thing, it helps move the day along. You gunna attack Coles for something out of his control, enjoy. Amendment 1 protects you, so go crazy.
What have I done wrong? I'd be a lot more worried about the NAMBLA members that were clearly harassing ME and my views on Coles.

You could have ended this discussion easily by manning up and saying something like, "Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have said that... sorry guys." And that would have been the end of it. But no... you choose to continue with this. You're apparently quite young. I prefer to think that of you over quite stupid, quite immature, quite a mutant, etc. So perhaps it's the fact that you've never had a child yourself who you worry about having this happen to. And I certainly hope you never have to deal with that yourself either. And no, I've never been molested nor have any of my children, so don't bother going there as you did to one of the other responders above. Some opinions are best kept to yourself. Sure you have the right to free speech, but why use it to get yourself kicked off a website that is entertainment for you?
Why would I get kicked off? I haven't attacked anyone...I've already been in trouble for doing that in the past. I'm stating MY opinion. I shouldn't be "kicked off" for that. It's my right as an American to use the first amendment.

Your right as an American but not necessarily your right as a TGG.com member. You're a member of a community that does not have to follow the same rules as the American constitution. You can not sue this website for banning you for what you said, because it was inappropriate and out of context to the site's purpose. All you're doing is taking a legitimate topic off course and trying to stir up controversy, acting like a damn attention whore.

Badass? Do you realize how laughable that is? I've known badasses, JO, you're not one of them. I served a year in combat in Vietnam and earned the Bronze Star and CIB in the company of badasses trying to help preserve freedom of speech for a people they didn't even know. I can't speak for anybody else, but I like Coles, the player, a lot. He's as tough a receiver as I've seen. The thing I don't like about Coles is how he's going about his current contract that he signed. The very next year after watching the kendall situation become a huge distraction he goes immediately to the media bitching and complaining about money and everybody's lying to him. Most likely it was he that was comlaining about the $ shelled out to the current F.A.'s, but I guarantee if the team sat on it's hands and didn't go out and do everything they can to improve the team, that he, Coles, is a Captain of, he would be bitching up a storm. Face it, some people you can never please. Coles, to me, is one of those people. Regardless of how many catches he makes he'll never be my favorite player again.

It's not even worth talking about anymore. Besides, Mommy will be home soon from food shopping and realize he's been on her computer again. Bottom line is (and the reason why I cited the Star Ledger article) is that it looks like we're close to signing a deal with Coles. That's good news for the Jets, no matter what any of us think of Coles personally. Let's just hope we put this to bed by the end of the week and work on getting Rhodes and Baker into new contracts.
