Of course, nevermind the fact that they would do that whether or not it had actually been thoroughly investigated because if you type things in 42 font in bold it makes them more profound.

Can people just fucking wait to see what happens before shouting "omg conspiracy!!111"

    Nope.

I am looking forward to seeing what this is all about once and for all. I don't believe Walsch has anything. Ever since he wanted immunity from lieing, I have not been concerned...but anxious to see what's up anyway.

Instead of crowing every time someone writes an article, why don't you wait to see what exactly he has? Just sayin.....

I agree, this Walsh guy has the most shady past you could find. Funny I see none of the other articles about this guy and his past on this board, only the articles that hint towards agreement between him and the NFL.

This guy is out to make a name for himself and the only reason he needs the protection hes seeking is because he illegally stole things from the Patriots to have any of the evidence. There are so many people saying that the things hes accusing them of are impossible since they didn't even bring battery packs for the cameras and there were no electrical outlets to power any of the cameras.

This guy can't hold a job anywhere he goes, he lost his PGA license so he is unable to be considered a club pro or assistant. Hes basically a loser at life, yet rival fans are already jumping behind this guy 100% and urging him on.

Basically what will have to happen is that Walsh will have to produce actual tapes, then prove that he himself filmed the tapes (didn't steal/obtain them from someone else outside of the Pats organization) and also prove that Belichick ordered him to actually go and film the Rams practice. Seeings how this sketch bag actually recorded conversations with front office personnel without their knowledge, he should be able to prove that Belichick ordered the filming if its not a complete LIE.

Oh, and be ready to buy his book that will be SURE to hit shelves after all of this is done. Part of the conditions that the Patriots/NFL wanted as part of his protection was that he could not profit from this, to which he and his lawyers said "NO WAY!" , "You're treating us unfairly, there is a cover up! My client wants to make millio.... I mean, my client wants to speak the truth!"

Can't wait until this reject speaks and is sent on his way. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Go back to your miserable, pathetic life and let us move on with football. We'll be using our 7th pick, sorry to burst your bubble. The league is not authorized to fine/penalize picks that were traded for, only picks that are compensatory or alloted each year to each team. A video could come out of BB having sex with Goodell's mother and Goodell couldn't touch the 7th pick. SORRY!

If the reason you haven't been worried is that you think he wants "immunity from lying," you'd better start worrying. What he claims he wants is immunity from lawsuits that might be filed by people against him once he tells the truth that he broke rules and was therefore cheating (he wants the NFL to indemnify him so that they agree to pay any judgements against him). There's no such thing as "immunity from lying"; there is immunity from punishment (either criminal or civil) for telling the truth.

I totally agree. This man has some embarrassing stuff on his record, and he is leading something that may hurt the Patriots. So goddamit this guy is a fucking looser, a vindictive, lowlife maniac and personally I think it would be better for society if he were taken out back and shot. If he has dirt on the Pats it doesn't matter because he sucks at life, and no I don't think it's unfair to him that in the globe report almost every single source describing him came from either the Pats or the NFL.

He didn't lead the Pats to cheating... your genius coach Bill Belichick did. Now that something apparently is going to come out all the Pats fans are going to spin this into being Walsh's fault, like the Pats hands were clean in it all. Amazing.

Walsh absolutely has tapes. Whether or not there is anything new in them remains to be seen. You can't help but make the comparison between him and Clemens trainer. Slimy people who keep the evidence forever just in case they decide they need it in the future.

Who he is or what he did previous to his tenure as an employee of the Pats has zero to do with it. They are not going to use him as a character witness, they are going to look at the information on the tapes he possesses. Physical evidence is immaterial to whether or not he is an asswipe, which he obviously is.

I totally agree. Bill Belichick is a dick head - send him to the glue factory. It's about time a Pats fan manned up and spoke the truth about him.

That's exactly what those lovable Pats fans tried to do when they were saying that Mangini broke the unwritten rule not to rat on another coach. The Pats were going to unleash their anger on every team they played by running up the score. Except that they were not able to do that against the Jets in Foxboro and the Giants at the SB. How sweet it was to watch them choke when they all thought that the SB win and the perfect season was in the bag.

Ok I see so it would be easier to use an upstanding member of the community to come out and break the rules for your team. Easy to find a guy with morals to go out and blatantly break rules that govern the game. Please. If there is documentation of what he is saying, done deal....if not then close the book. But saying it aint so cause the guy is a scumbag is just plain silly. If you want someone to do a scumbag job you hire a scumbag. Look how they got Belli .

Holy shit..... I was about to say the same people villifying Walsh for recording conversations are making a hero out of McNamee for keeping syringes used by Roger. It's amazing the hypocrisy just a few hundred miles up 1-95.

I don't know what he has or doesn't but Pats fans better hope it's not a Rams walkthrough. If it is I would think that would spell the end of the chicken roaming his coop for a period of time. Honestly I'd like to think they won that 1st SB cleanly being they had about 7 former Jets that helped them do it.

It's called defamation. If you lie in testimony about someone or some company, they can sue you. He wants protection from being sued.
What he wants is blanket immunity. He requested immunity from any and all prosecution and lawsuits, not conditional on his testimony.

That's what he requested. Otherwise, this deal would have been done weeks ago.
