In the new bizarro world of the NYJ, he would've been our BIG signing in previous years and we would've missed out on the really big names! This year he's the ONE that got away. Wow, is all I can say about this offseason so far. My gut feeling is they go all out on FA this year and next year remain relatively quiet. Probably signing Rhodes and filling in the roster with more depth-type additions. I think this year is the gel year and next year is the first legitimate 'run for the SB' since the '99 season.
hahaha...so true! Let's hope the NFL raises the cap significantly again next season...so we don't turn into the Arizona Cardinals next year at FA time.
Does anyone know if McGlover played at the same level or greater when he went over to CHI-town? He was probably one of the best ST players we've seen in recent years.
Once again Woody is a tight wad and won't pay for good football players. Hopefully we can bring in the Ultimate Warrior or someone to try and make the team in preseason.
