Off of 2007 I thought Rhodes should have been a Pro Bowl Safety, and Revis is on his way to a Pro Bowl career at CB. Harris is probably the best MLB in the NFL and will be a Pro Bowler. On offense the only Pro Bowler was Nick Mangold - he is going to be if he's not already the best center in the NFL. Now, we've added the best G in the NFL in Alan Faneca. We've also added two potential Pro Bowlers on Defense in Jenkins and Pace. We also have the #6 pick in the draft. Not since the Sack Exchange Jets have we had this much Pro Bowl Talent on our roster!
I say Faneca and Rhodes are the only ones with a shot...Jenkins is learing a new position and Pace is just not that good imo...I hope I'm wrong on that though.
I love Harris as a player, but we need to stop calling him the best MLB in the NFL. He had a great half of a season. He didn't even win defensive rookie of the year. Lets stop anointing him the best before he plays consecutive solid season, let alone play an entire one.
Are you guys seriously trying to hex this team??? Calling out pro bowlers before the season!!! Jesus we are so screwed this season...
Only Mike Nugent makes it ! You guys are jinxing this whole thing! Dear football gods they know not what they do. (Cut cut , salt , Ahhhhhh)
I think that if we have 6 or 7 players performing at 'Pro Bowl level', 1 or 2 of them will probably be selected, one of which will be an alternate.
Oh Great. This is the type of thread that my wife hates. Jets fans filling my head with-"This could be a great year". I agree though, I think Mangold is destined for the big time soon and Revis has the tools be another 'Prime Time'. Washington, Rhodes, with the front line on O I can even see a huge year for Thomas Jones I see a few Jets at the pro-bowl next year too. New York here I come. The new kitchen will have to wait for another year.
How Can You Say This This Is So Messed Up This Is Something To Worry About Midseason Not Until Then. How Can You Even Mention Pro Bowl At This Point
Theres nothing wrong with him thinking Harris is the best middle linebacker in the NFL. Is it too early to make such a statement, probably. But the guys a beast and has the chance to announce himself as the best in the next few seasons.
Harris SHOULD have been Defensive Rookie of the Year! David Harris 2007 16 games 9 games started 121 Tackles 86 solo and 5 sacks 215 Tackles 153 solo and 9 sacks Projected over 16 games started... Patrick Willis 2007 16 games 16 games started 226 Tackles 143 solo and 4 sacks BTW did I forget to mention that Richardson has been a Pro Bowl FB?
