or they wont give in to coles contract and go WR. lol thats another route. i think they like clemens and are aware of the poor line play. so theyre trying to fix it.

im expecting Gholston, a WR, or a DB with number 6. if mcfadden falls i think the cowboys bite.

I do not think we use our #6 on a QB. That is not to say that we don't use the 2nd round pick on a QB if a decent one happens to be available (like a Flacco). I still think Chad is could be up for grabs (or even Clemens), but we'll see.

I think with Atlanta reeling in Turner from San Diego, it increases the odds of McFadden being there at #6. He would be BPA at that spot. If we ended up drafting Gholston instead, I wouldn't complain.

If the Jets Front Office is itching to get a top-notch QB in this draft and if have a chance to pick-up Groves or Avril with our No.2, then the move to make is to pick Ryan.

No one available has had more success working with next to no talent around him. To me, he's already proven himself from a talent standpoint. I also like what I've been hearing about how he carries himself when speaking to FO types at the Combine, all business. Flat-out, this guy has the arm and the moxie to be an excellent QB in NY. I don't know whether we can say the same about Brohm, Woodson, Flacco or Henne. If Ryan had the level of talent that Brohm had around him in college, there's no question that he would have been the consensus No.1 pick in this draft.

With the flurry of moves the Jets have thus far made this off-season and if they can make the following moves:

    1. a trade sending Penny somewhere where he has a chance to compete for a starting spot; and

    2. sign Pace,

then Ryan is our man at No.6. We can still have a shot at a decent OLB in the 2nd and we can afford to go BPA with the remainder of our picks regardless of position since we would no longer have any glaring need to take care of.

With that said....I hope that we wouldn't be force to make this move because Gholston is gone at No.6. An OLB Corp of Thomas, Bowen, Pace and Gholston would, I believe, strike fear in the heart of Offensive Coordinators everywhere.
