A Ho hum H back/Full back type player. he's not much to get excited about IMO. I guess Mangini and Tanny see something in him that I don't, because I have never been all that thrilled about his skills.

Not a big sign, but I guess depth cannot hurt and realistically no one in the H-Back position has distinguished themselves as a head of the pack

This tells me these guys havent learned enough. Inside the 20 you need a DT for a FB.

Outside the 20, you need someone moe athletic than Tutt.

The other thing it says is...Callahan wants to PUSH people around....expect to see Bender get shot to unseat Moore or Clement.

Uhhh. Who the hell is our fullback? I remember the guy who left us to become a damn comic book artist lol Darien Barns is soft. We do need a FB and Stacy Tutt is not the answer. I like Kowalewski but in free agency there's a man named Dan Kreider from the Steelers.

Is Kreider really available? I hadn't heard that. In that case we should DEFINITELY go get Kreider. Although a lot of people want a pass-catching athletic FB, our offense just doesn't use the FB like that. Schott didn't use it in San Diego with Lorenzo Neal, and he is not going to use that type of FB now. That is why we signed Barnes last year, to be a pure blocking FB, although he proved to be pretty bad at that too. Kreider is one of the best, if not the best, blocking FBs in the business and only 30 (unlike Lorenzo Neal who is 38). Kreider fits perfectly here, and would give us a lot of help in the running game to go along with our improving O-line.

100% agreeable. Maybe they should take a look at that.
