I've been in Charlotte since '99 and people only think that Jenkins is an ass because he tells it like it is....He called out all the Panthers players last season because they have no heart and he was right and all the reporters down here agreed with him....I would love for Jenkins to join the JETS. He would help us greatly!!!

I agree Samuel makes our Secondary one of the top ones in the league. But we dont need Samuel for the money he is gonna command it would be smarter to spend it elsewhere. We can easily find another CB that can fill the void with a great front 7 and for a lot cheaper. Barrett, Miller, and Poteat will be a fine tandem and draft a CB in the later rounds.

The biggest issue by locking up Samuel is that he are already paying Revis and Rhodes big money and that would be way to much to lock up. Also by paying Samuel we would not be able to pay Faneca we would be tying up way to much money in FA with Samuel, Faneca, Pace.

Faneca is a bigger need for big money than Samuel is.

Singing Samuel would be the biggest mistake the FO can make this off season.

Hey, ESPN reported that we signed Winfield before he signed with Minnesota instead.

...let's just hope Faneca doesn't have a crazy, controlling wife like Winfield.

Herm and Bradway are morons. Tannenbaum and Mangini are not.

I only want them to sign Samuel if they can still sign Faneca. No one knows the exact number but I think theyre around $25 million under the cap and trading Dewayne would clear another 8 or so million. I think its possible for the Jets to sign Samuel, Faneca and Pace.

I cant imagine Faneca going to Arizona. I dont see him leaving a storied franchise like Pittsburgh and heading over to Arizona. Im not saying that the Jets have been a model franchise, but they are much better regarded than Arizona in terms of history and fans and all that stuff.

Arizona is probably going to be our toughest competition for him. They need OL help badly, and Faneca likes Whisenhunt and Grimm.

Money talks, but I agree with your sentiment. As much as the Jets' franchise has screwed up over the years, they are not even approaching the stupidity of the Bidwill family. No matter what intelligent moves they make, they always end up screwing themselves over and over again in the dumbest ways.

Same here, let's renegotiate his contract and move him to DE.

Look at that offense over in Arizona, they need a G badly and they could pitch to Faneca that he is the missing peice on offense. They are way ahead then us right now when it comes to offensive production.

Thats old news, it came out a few weeks ago that Faneca wanted to go back and be with his old Offensive Coor. Ken Whisenhunt, and old Offensive Line coach Russ Grimm. Both now with the Cardinals.

Anyone saying Faneca is a lock is way off, he is far from it. As soon as he signs his name on a Jets contract he'll be a lock, no sooner.

was that a "storied" franchise or a "steroid" franchise? lol!

I would LOVE to see the Jets add Faneca! It stabilized the line for the next few years and helps our running game and QB. Major upgrade.

I'm not as high on dumping money on Samuel - too much money for him - we can get better value.

I wanted us to draft Jenkins - would love to see him in Green! Rodgers is 2nd choice, another guy we should have drafted.

The bottom line is, who has more cap room? That's the team that wins the player.

This is driving me nuts. I actually just took off of work tomorrow so I could watch the chaos all day. My wife thinks I'm retarded. Hopefully I don't have to start drinking. Well maybe I can drink to celebrate. It's not hard to find an excuse to drink.

You may be very disappointed. Day 1 can potentially be very quiet, and by the end of it all the fans are screaming WHY HAVENT WE DONE ANYTHING YET!!!
