in 2004 john abraham caught a lot of flak [ most of it not his own doing] for not playing in the playoffs, well l.t last week gets the ball 3 times and then he was done, he was standing on the sidelines w/his helmet on, not speaking w/his teamates, and mind u he was standing not sitting, like an injured player should if there not in the locker room, the biggest game of l.t's career and he's standing on the sidelines??? i lost even more respect for him after that game

If you think for a second he didn't want to play in that game you're sorely mistaken. He couldn't play and that's why he didn't - at least he tried.

Abe was cleared to play but didn't want to because he had a potential big FA contract coming up and didn't want to mess it up. He didn't even try.

During the game, they said that it was the coach's call to take him out. I think LT probably really wanted to play in the game.

You got a link? It was a well known fact that he was cleared to play by the medical staff. The guy didn't wanna ruin his pay day. At least LT gave it a shot, plus a healthy Micheal Turner is better than a 75% LT IMO.

Yeah and Tom Brady is in a boot...and missed practice. I'm sure the guy (L.T.) was pulled by the coach, he wanted to play the guy isn't known to miss games.

man give it a rest... LT would have been playing if he could. He obviously could not. You can blame him for sitting on the bench with his visor on catatonic instead of cheerleading if you want though.

Chris Mortenson reported that if LT's knee injury had happened during the regular season he would have been out for SIX WEEKS. I guess he's just a giant pussy for trying to play and not finishing though.

john Abraham got some sand in his vagina before the game thats why he didnt play.

I remember personally cursing him out during that playoff game.

So you're suggesting that players be assholes and rebel against their coaches?
