Ill watch the SB but will try to dodge the media day and ESPN for the next 2 weeks.

  4. I'm gonna attempt to be the first football fan to ever willfully sleep through the super bowl.

I refuse to watch the evilest franchise in sports win another title.

No. I don't want to watch the patriots. Frankly, I have soured on watching sports. We are now finding out that some so called champions or record breakers were cheating, like Marion Jones and a number of baseball players. I can't be sure anymore if Lance Armstrong cheated or not. I know, Marion Jones never tested positive but we now know that she cheated. The patriots cheated not just with spygate but also with using different frequencies that the ones they were assigned. A number of of opposing offenses complained that the patriots defense knew exactly what they play they were going to run but it was all swept under the rug by the NFL. Not to mention all the favorable calls and non calls they have been getting. Why would I subject myself to watching them again? Their superbowls will also be tarnished. I think I can find better ways of spending my time than wacthing a sport even that may not be as genuine as they say it is.

Yea cause all you will hear is TOM BRADY.. He maybe a winner on the field but off hes a real loser off. Go knock up more super models and not pay for the child.

  10. I had an assanine Pats fan ask me about this at work about a week ago...and what i told him is really what it's come to..

He asked what i kind of football fan i was to not watch the playoffs?

I told him that I'm not a football fan..and that i'm a JETS fan. Any game not including them is meaningless to me and frankly, anything but a Jets super bowl is meaningless.

    He had no response.

I will be watching and hoping that whatever the outcome the Giants have a 4 in the second spot on their score and the Patriots have a 3. Or the Giants a 3 and the Pats a 9.

I'll be tucked up in bed asleep. No way I'm taking a Monday off work to watch a game that will leave me miserable no matter the outcome.

No, it's just not fair. This is the Giants 4th SB appearance in my lifetime, the Pats 6th. It's just not fair that we can't get even one! Just once I wish we got the breaks the giants have been getting, the poor calls in their favor, the big non-calls in their favor. We sure could have used that in Denver '98, Oak '02 and Pitt '04 but we never get breaks, we never get iffy penalties to keep drives alive 3 seperate times, we never have penalties not called on us that are just as iffy. It just doesn't happen. I am sick of the NFL and this SB will only make me sicker. I despise both teams, I hate the Giants more than any team and I hate the Boston sports fan more than any fanbase. There's no good outcome for me. This is what I get for being a loyal fan for almost 30 years.

I'm gonna be on a flight back from Telluride.... I figured I didn't want to see the Pats win another superbowl, so I didn't mind missing it this year.

While I have no particular love for the Giants, this is NY vs. Boston and I gotta stand by NY.

I really can't fathom not watching the Super Bowl, because that would mean that I would have to miss one hell of a party. Usually during the Super Bowl, I have one eye on the Super Bowl Squares and the 12 foot hero in the kitchen.

I'll be rooting for the Giants, because I really don't mind them, and I hate the Patriots.
