The key is that the player has to be standing still. If the ball has stopped but the player is moving and goes into the end zone, it's a touchback (that happened yesterday, I think). If the ball has stopped and a player leans over and touches it, he's standing still at the time, so the ball is down.
And now Glenn falls down and should have caused an interception. Edit: has everyone stopped watching this game? hmy:
he used the ball to stay upright. now that's unusual. and yeah I'm watching. I've watched the whole first half except about 4 plays. sitting here with a laptop in front of the tv
manning should not have thrown that. he could've run for like 15 yards. open field the facemask called on reeves gave the giants a chance to go for a td, but they've stalled and it looks like a fg attempt now
manning to boss and it's 1st and goal at the 4. what a clutch play right there. 3rd and 10 and it was the last chance
Yesterday I saw a guy in a convenience store wearing a Williams jersey. I said, "Wow. I haven't seen a Cowboys jersey in 10 years. They must be good again." Then the guy said, "Yeah, they are good."
