Take NE out, and Chad was 1-6. That doesn't say anything. What I'm saying is that Chad didn't win the winnable games. Chad played more games against inferior teams than Clemens did. The only reason that Win-Loss record stat favors Chad, is because of the 32 wins NE put up.The other 7 games Chad played were on par with the 7 games Clemens played.

The fact of the matter is the offense continued to fail in the red zone and kick FGs after we changed QBs. With Clemens in there we scored 9 TDs in 89 posessions, you call that good? If he played better we would have started scoring more points, but we didn't, which tells you the offense was bad regardless of the QB. We won a couple games late because the defense played better after the bye week, just like they did in 2006. The Pittsburgh and KC games were all defense with Clemens playing lousy. Had the defense shown up at all early in the season we would have had a similar record with Pennington in there. Still not good, though. Now if the Clemens games had been 31-28 games or even 24-21 games you guys would have an arguement, but you do not. Aside from Miami, both games "he" won were won by the defense. The Pittsburgh game was a punt return, three handoffs and a FG. Sunday was 13-10 in OT. Come on.
The Baltimore game would have went into overtime if the WR's could catch not a guaranteed win. So drop that argument. The Washington game Clemens score 3 point in the second half and the pass was at Cotches shoe laces. Should he make that catch, probably, was it as much Clemens fault definately.

First of all last year was the first and only year I made the prediction that we overachieved like we did. I thought we had a super bowl ready team since 2002 and we reached our peak with the loss in Pitt. Problem is I never thought we had a super bowl ready Qb.
