KC/JET GAME important for draft position.

Now that KC has lost today(Detroit).....if the Jets beat KC.....Hermie will draft ahead of the Jets. No McFadden, No Chris Long..........Gholston should be the choice.

How do you figure? If KC picks ahead of us how would we not be able to get either player?

I agree, we should draft Gholston, but KC being in front of us doesn't guarantee that those players will be gone.

Getting to our 4th win....will put Oakland ahead of us also(They won't beat SD)......maybe even Baltimore if they lose out. Oakland would love C Long or Mcfadden!!

Having Oakland and KC ahead of us to me means Chris Long and McFadden are gone.

KC doesn't really have anything to do with it, they're drafting an offensive linemen or a DB.

But I would love it if we drafted Gholston regardless of where we pick.

I don't see why KC has nothing to do with it. That team's starting RB is Kolby Smith. I think they could use McFadden.

If San Franciso wins today, the lowest we'll pick is No. 7.
Worst case scenario. I'm not sure who gets tiebreaker between us and the Ravens, if we win.
    1. Mia - Glenn Dorsey
    2. Atl - Matt Ryan
    3. Oak - Darren McFadden
    4. Stl - Chris Long
    5. KC - Jake Long
    6. Balt - Vernon Gholston
    7. NYJ - If Ravens take Brohm, take either Gholston or Laurinatis or trade down.

Where does a win over Kansas City put the Jets in the Draft?

    I am wondering this because:

    A. I want to beat the Chiefs during Herman Edwards' homecoming.

    B. The Jets probably WILL beat the Chiefs because they are horrible and have lost 8 straight.

Right now the worst teams are:

    1. Dolphins 1-14
    2. Rams 3-12
    3. Jets 3-12
    4. Falcons 3-12
    5. Raiders 4-11
    6. Chiefs 4-11
    7. Ravens 4-11

I don't know if that is the exact order, but those are the records.

So would a Jets win and no other team's win drop them all the way down to the #7 pick or what?

I actually think we would be #4 as of right now... I think Falcons pick #3. Who do the Rams, Falcons, Raiders play next week?

You're dead on.........Jets beat KC........probably 7th pick....if Balt, Atl and Oakland all lose next week, which is very possible. STL will have the #2 pick if they lose. STL has 3 wins...ATL has 4.

SF winning today..........NE drafts behind the Jets and assures no worse than a 7th pick, which helped with 1 spot.

The best the Jets can get if they lose to KC......2nd with a STL win or 3rd at worst.

    Rams play at Arizona
    Falcons play the Seahawks
    Raiders host the Chargers

The only team I see with a realistic chance of winning is St. Louis

I accidently put the Raiders twice. I meant Ravens. The Ravens host the Steelers next week.

Falcons would take Mcfadden if they pick before us
