If I come into your house and steel stuff when you're there it's okay with you?

I love this approach. It is okay for a team to cheat for a competitive advantage - but not okay to call out said cheater? So Mangini should just let the Patties get a leg up on them because he'd rather not be considered a rat? That's BS. This isn't grade school - this is the world of professional sports.

Should we consider Belicheat a rat because he was attempting to get the Jets punished for 'alleged' tampering?

As a pro you attempt to nullify any perceived advantage the competition has - period.

Yeah Winston it should be fine - there are plenty of other thieves out there. Why rat you out for doing what so many others do.

Steel? You got a portable blast furnace?

It would be ok with me if I had stolen shit from you the week earlier and everyone in our town was doing the same thing. Yeah... sort of an unwritten rule going.

Though still a better analogy would be "If I come into your house and SPARK UP A BIG FATTIE AND SMOKE IT when you're there it's okay with you?". That would be ok too and guess what? I wouldn't rat on you then either.

You get the difference? Everyone was doing it. Mangini did it the year before to us. No one was ratting on each other. Until Mangini. Though tomorrow Mangini will get his comeupance. Now won't he?

You're a douchebag. You probably made your account a couple of days ago, just to come in here and troll. I'm glad you jumped on the Patsies' bang wagon and that you support a cheating coach.

Go to a Patriots' board and post anti-Jets stuff...people there might actually care what you have to say -- they're all like you, in a couple of years, they'll be jumping off the bandwagon.

Calm down, Lamecock. I've been a Pat's fan before you were a gleam in your daddy's eyes. What I said is the truth. Tomorrow is payback for the Jets and many of us up here are salivating at the thought that this game might cost Mangini his job.

Oh yes, I'm quite sure you were as impressed with Belicheat as you are now when he went 5-11 the first year of coaching 'your' team.

    Spare me the silliness...

What is his comeupance? The guy is going to be here for a long time. If the Pats don't win the SB they will be looked at as an all time choke team. If they do BB is going to leave to coach the Giants within a year or two and the Pats are over either way.

Well, to be honest I've been a fan since they were the Boston Patriots, so I know horrid teams. We haven't had a horrid team (cough, cough, JETS) since 1992. So... no... I've always known Bill Belichick is the greatest coach of all-time. Of ALL TIME.

I went there. I didn't grow up there (I have all my teeth) -- I just went there to get laid and pick up a degree (or two). I live in Boston (actually Somerville, but close enough).

Whoa!!!! Someone has strayed from the farm! All time choke team would be forever the 2004 New York Yankees. Nothing in our lifetimes will change that. Kurt, is that you? Back already?

Oh yeah... and Bill is signed through 2013:
By Mike Reiss and Christopher L. Gasper, Globe Staff | September 17, 2007

FOXBOROUGH - The contract of Patriots coach Bill Belichick remains one of the more closely guarded secrets in the NFL, but ESPN.com reported yesterday that Belichick recently signed an extension through at least the 2013 season.

So let me get this straight . You think mangini should have said nothing about the camera incident the Patriots got CAUGHT doing . An incident so blatantly against the rules that the NFL fined Patsies 3/4 of a million dollars. Can you imagine the repercussions if it was found that Mangini knew about cameras and said nothing. Hm that would make him a scumbag traitor. And as we know the only place for people of that caliber would be in your cozy little rats nest you have of your own. oh and now after he gets caught cheatin Belicheator the little cheater cries wolf about something that happened a year ago and that has already been reviewed by the NFL and they found nothing wrong. So now Belicheat is a crybaby rat. But at least he isnt a traitor and he is cheatin for your teams benefit I will give him that

BB has a habit of walking from contracts.

How far back do you go with the Pats? I go back to Mike Holovak HCBP and Parilli as the QB.

Nice we both had some clasic crappy teams back then. Hanah was a beast and Plunket just got the crap kicked out of him. I always liked Grogan and loved Stanely Morgan.

I think since I go back to the mid 60's I don't really look at the Pats as a huge rival, it was more of the Raiders back than and to this day I still hate the Raiders and don't really see the Pats as a huge rival. I guess if we were more competitive I might feel different. I'm sure the guys who have followed the team for the last 10 years or so feel different?
