Unless there statement is "we are both preparing to file libel lawsuits against Mr. Mitchell" they both used steroids, imo.
I find the scrub names on the list much more interesting then the "stars". I mean, Manny Alexander was juicing? The guy with career 56 OPS+? Hilarious.
sorry if you got pissed I called yo a homo. hahah but Im glad to see youre coming around...this was not an anti-yankee conspiracy...thats retarded. Let Don think that.....shadetree is almost right in some of his opinions but since he knows no other way of communicating his opinions other than being a completely obnoxious, partial windbag noone will listen to him.........but let me rpeat....as a HUGE YANKEE FAN......I THINK ANYONE CALLING THIS THING AN ANTI-YANKEE SMEAR CAMPAIGN IS DELUSIONAL AND BIAS THEMSELVES.
Nah it's cool. I wasn't concerned with you calling me a homo. It's not the first time, after all. I was just pissed off, and misdirecting. I've calmed down a bit though. I still stand by my statement that it was as much a conflict of interest for Mitchell to conduct the investigation as it is for Selig to be the commish though.
It's like this... If I catch an employee stealing at work, and they tell me another employee is stealing also, I can't just go and accuse and tell the entire company that the second employee is stealing without actual proof of the crime.... I'd be sued... now... of course in the court of "public opinion" everyone might believe the second employee is a thief... but it doesn't make it so
That's the really interesting thing. There are some guys on the list that make you scratch your head and think "Really?"
I had him on my championship fantasy team in 2001. Will I be required to forfeit my title and prize money?
I'll explain to you why it is relevent. On Monday they said there would be no names in the report that didn't have corroborative evidence to back up any accusations. There would be none based on just testimony or hearsay. Now they have done just that and only as it pertains to two Yankee players. (although one of them played for many teams)
Its different. Its not like this guy used, and then ratted out others like Canseco. This guy SUPPLIED it. There is concrete evidence on so many of the guys heh mentioned, why shouldn't we believe him on the ones he talks about that he doesn't have checks/shipping slips etc.
and also makes you think just how much effect do steroids actually have on your abilty to play the game of baseball.
It doesn't matter... you can't just accuse someone on the word of another without proof... When people get into binds like this allot will say anything they thing will help them get a better deal... That's why you will never see any kind of case prosecuted solely on the word of a guilty party... too much motive to lie all you have to do is equate it to a drug dealer... they don't use but.......
But if your first employee reveals an elaborate theft ring, provides names with concrete proof, then provides details how your second employee was involved, albeit without proof...???
