You do realize that the fans are the only ones that "hate" the other team, right? The players, for the most part, treat them like business competitiors and many of them are friendly.

I'd assume the NFL is just like any other football league... If you're with one team long enough, you begin to passionately loathe their rivals...

I do not think it is good to hurt Patriots players, but in football players get hurt many times by just playing. If tom brady becomes hurt how can someone say it is because they want to hurt him.
If they beat us by 40 points, then it's because they did their job better than we did our job. Ruining their careers is not the answer to that dilemma.
