Where are all you KC fans at? He played poorly against "great" D's now he has a chance play against a D that is not so great...he can really show his stuff now! I say he does play well and we will win this game. If he does play poorly...It will be interesting to hear the excuses then. He should play well and we should win.
Wow, can't believe we are dogs to a winless team. I hope the jets go in and just destroy them, and I have a feeling they will. Jets win 41-14 (a la 2004).
peek into your crystal ball and predict us a score schwaby!!!! atleast tell us how bad the jets will win.
My condolences to the underdog Jets...to a winless team. They must be pretty insulted. Kick their ass!
Aside from the spread, what's even more intriguing is that 55% of the public is backing Miami. I had originally assumed that the Miami -1 line was to induce bets on the Jets but clearly this is not the case. I think it's pretty clear now that they felt -1 given the public's recent perception of both teams would achieve the 50/50 in a game that's pretty tough to call either way. Jets get blown out in Dallas on T-Day and Miami loses by 3 to the heavily-backed Steelers(public overrates them). We all know the field conditions set the Monday night game, but Bill Smith in North Dakota doesn't weigh it heavily. I really believe our Monday night's game against Pittsburgh is one of the major reasons why you guys are dogs. Had it been on something even remotely resembling a real football field, Miami would be dogs right and and I would be betting them
i'd say jets win because of the long week compared to miami's short week, and stable of injured running backs. 24-21 jets.
If that is the case and the line was set on this game based of the fact that Miami played a close game to the Steelers, then they have a REAL short term memory because we BEAT the Steelers two weeks ago. Unbelievable. The Jets play best when they have more than a week to prepare.
:finssuck: But so do we [=...I think we might blow them out or we will get blown out, one or the other.
The public doesn't remember that. It's all about recent perception I think. What other explanation is there? It certainly isn't our home crowd advantage, where we are in the bottom 5 of how much points Vegas lays when we're at home. Not to mention, 1-8 ATS last time when hosting NYJ at home
There's no way to predict the score of this game because both teams stink. If one unit dominates it will be the Dolphin defense but I'd hesitate to predict anything at all at this point.
c'mon we are beating the fish, clemens is a better QB than beck or lemon, our defense is better than the fishes because we have 2 wins more than them. we will win this game by a touchdown.
