The Mud Bowl, you say? Too bad this game is essentially meaningless to the Dolphins, because that's the sort of karma I could live with. Not for nuthin', but Big Ben Doofusberger is looking just like that: a big doofus.

    No.

But it would make the top 10 of the past quarter century.

I'm still going to go with that Jaguars-Bengals game of 2000 as the worst field conditions of the 2000s.

Some other terrible field conditions during the Super Bowl era:
1975 AFC Championship (played on icy turf in Pittsburgh)
1982 AFC Championship (the second "Mud Bowl")
1977 Vikings-Rams Divisional playoff (the original "Mud Bowl" and in Los Angeles at that!)
1979 Chiefs at Buccaneers season finale

I'm sure there have been games that went faster, but I've never seen one go this fast in the modern era.

My highlight of the season would be watching Miami go 0-16.

    It needs to happen.

If it was a college football game or a Yankess game, we'd be about halfway through.

Not only did I just sit through one of the most boring football games in my lifetime but I also lost my fantasy game by one point because they didn't throw the ball to Heath Miller even once, just once for gods sake..

I should have written "shallow" as opposed to "small."

I never saw that photo or card, which is funny because I bought tons of those ProSet cards.

I do have the card with the Gary Reasons hit of Bobby Humphrey with the mouthpiece flying from that snowy Giants-Broncos game.

I have that one too. I'm actually in the process of rebuilding my collection. I lost about half of it (mostly Pro Sets and Scores from the late 80s and early 90s) to a flood in my bedroom when I was living at home. And I'm building some collections of ones I never had (1960s and 1970s). I love Ebay.

Those Jets/Colts games from the early 90's (was it 1991?) were pretty hideous. 9-3, then 6-3 or something, but I seem to remember they were even more boring than this was. The only reason I tuned in tonight was morbid curiosity. 0-16, Shula! :breakdance:

    1984- Colts, 9-5 (in NJ)
    1987- Colts, 6-0 (in IND)
1992- Colts, 6-3 (in IND) 9 points in an overtime game in a dome!
    1993- Colts, 9-6 (in NJ)

Wow this was an absolute disgrace of a football field. All I can say is thank god that the Steelers found a way to get the points they needed to win. I was half expecting the ball to be fumbled on that snap.

    Weird notes from my leagues-

In my money league I won 172-114. I got 8 points out of Roethlisberger. My opponent got 19 points out of Eli Manning. Huh? The reason for this is there is no penalty for interceptions.

In my keeper league, a playoff probable won 128.43 to 128.33. The loser started Patrick Crayton in his WR/RB slot and left Fred Taylor on his bench. Heath Miller scored 0 points for the 128.43 guy.
