The only real chances the Dolphins have to win are against the Jets and the Bengals and they really aren't going to match Carson Palmer and company unless they get lucky. I expect them to be desperate for a win on Sunday.
WOW. I'm gonna type this slow, because you obviously can't read fast.... ready?.... NO FAN HERE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO ANY GAME FOR THE REST OF THIS SEASON!!!!... Now scroll up and see where anyone posted where they said they were "looking forward" to the game... okay... r u back?....good. Now, this has nothing to do with beating up on a weaker team either...take a deep breath...it is a lot to absorb... Once upon a time, there was this team, we'll call them the Dolphins..this team went undefeated thru the season, and thru to the Superbowl. The Superbowl, is a game they play at the end of the year, and has a shiny football on top of the throphy...wait a minute, I'm getting off track. SOOOOO anyway, this Dolphin team is the only one in NFL HISTORY to go undefeated. This Dolphin team is also a hated enemy of a team called the New York Jets. Seeing how you are new to football, the Jets are a team who's fan site you are posting on right now. See the green at the top of your screen? The Jets are Green and White. You will see names on this site like Jolly Greeen Giant, and Green Machine, and such...but I am getting off track again...ahhhhh you have so much to learn. SO back to the story. The Dolphins, whom everyone questions their sexual orientation, have yet to win a game this season. If they were to win against the beloved Jets, it would make the Jets dismal season even worse. Not just because of the loss, but because we didn't continue to aid in the quest for the Dolphins to have a WINLESS season, which is also an NFL first. I really feel you need to read "Football for Dummies", look up things on Wikipedia, and check other sources before making any more useless comments. Your welcome.
Hey....I know u mean well.....But Jets' better lose all the rest of there games & get the top #3 or 4 pick. hmy:
You're right the Jets MUST defeat the Dolphins. I dont care what our record is or what our talent level is, if you have 9 days to prepare for an 0-11 team coming off a monday night game and lose it reaches extremely embarrassing status. Not to mention that that team is the Dolphins, our biggest rival. Thats right, our BIGGEST RIVAL. I understand we've built up a quasi-rivalry recently with the Pats due to familiarity and their success - (is it still a rivalry if we continually get b#tchslapped by them?) But our history with the Dolphins makes far more of a rivalry. A.J Duhe and the Mud Bowl, Don Shula and all those years on the "competition committee," 51-45, the fake spike, monday night miracle- all highlights (some lowlights) in our rivalry. I honestly hope the Dolphins go 0-16 every single year for eternity!!!! Having said that, maybe from outside perspective it looks like a matchup between 2-9 and 0-11 teams, but for the Jets it should mean much more. We can't be lumped into the same level of the Dolphins futility. I am a Mangini-supporter, and am not under the addiage that everytime you finish with a poor record your coach should be fired- but if we lose sunday I honestly would change my mind, we can't embarrass ourselves that bad. I dont think its going to happen though. I think we'll see a differant Jets team than thursday and a victory over a beat-up Dolphins team - crossing my fingers.
Jets = Long Layoff. Fins = Short week. Jets repeat Steelers performance. By now, with the Defense playing better, I would think Mangini is carefully going the Schoddy offense this week.
I think the TBBs went winless way back when so if the blowholes also accomplish that they would be team #2 in the record books after the Bucs
Compared to earlier in the year...the D looked great. 4 days of rest and a first half full of 3-and-outs will make any defense look bad. I hope they keep playing at the same level for the rest of the year.
Bwahahaha!!! Teste just got pwned bigtime. Telling people to look up football for dummies, then not knowing that the Bucs had a winless season.
H'mmm did not GB & the IC also play on 4 days rest? They both seemed to play pretty well. I would recommend you start on pink lemonade instead of green koolaid & trade in your green shades for say blue or brown ASAP so you come back to realty
So U think Goodall will put something in the record books that TBB was winless in a 14 game season & the blowholes went winless in a 16 game season?
Or maybe it is worse to lose 16 games... Or the Bucs lost 14 games in their inaugural season, not 47 years later:wink:
Yep U R correct there should have said Goodell no matter there is no way if the blow holes also lose all there games that Roger will make a note against the TBB record
