Any update on his injury. Our offense is very mediocre without him. He has big play ability and is a huge option in the redzone, which is where he have struggled the past 2 games without him.

Honestly i am going to say it. If Coles was running that route in the endzone at the end of regulation, we would have won the game. Brad Smith had a great game, but that is a pass that an NFL reciever has to make, and I am betting LC would have come down with it.

    QFT...

Also, when Coles is out, Cotchery becomes invisible, as he does not have great speed or quickness, so he is easy to lock down when you can devote two defenders to him....

Partially agree ? Brad Smith did not have a great game and I?m not at all convinced he is an NFL receiver.

Agree, I was thinking during the game that unfortunately, while he has shown the proverbial "flashes" he really doesn't have the consistency to be a #3 WR. Then, again, neither does JMac. I think the coaching staff feels this way to as I believe JMac saw the field today prior to Smith and may have even played more downs.

Of course, the rep difference could have been because of the Coles injury as, i think, JMac is the back up at Coles' receiver position.
