you hit it right on the nose with your last comment. We cant just change head coaches everytime something goes bad. Ppl on these boards are so impatient it is ridiculous. Things would probably get worse if mangini is fired this year. the jets will give him a few more years and he will chagne defenses if he realizes that the 3-4 is not working. And he will draft correctly and take a good player. I have full faith in this regime right now.

Just a footnote here More and more athletes are competing at the top level than ever before in alot of diverse sports. I would avoid labeling someone these days as old and obselete just because they are in there mid 30s , look at Koz he hasn't even hit his prime yet :grin:
Rebuilding and 1-8 have nothing in common. Rebuilding and 3-6 you can make an argument for but 1-8 just means lousy team and poorly coached.
things got real bad after kotite and groh to i guess? mangini has to go and there is no way around it unless you cant understand the reality of whats going on!
