01:28PM - Leon Makes Pasquarelli?s Midseason All-Pro Team Friday, November 9th, 2007 by Gary Grund Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com recently released his midseason All-Pro team list. The only Jet to make the list is kick returner Leon Washington who is making a name for himself in the return department as he is leading the NFL in return yard average and has three runbacks for touchdowns. Here is what Pasquarelli has to say about Leon? Kickoff Returner - Leon Washington, New York Jets Reasoning: Got the job full time when 2006 return champion and Pro Bowl performer Justin Miller suffered a season-ending injury, and has responded well. Washington is averaging 33.5 yards per return and has three runbacks for scores, with four returns of 40 yards or more. My son's Favorite playa outa Fla State!!!! Go 'head Leon!!!!
Leon is definitely the man. If any of you read that Star-Ledger article on him last summer (about how he grew up and all the obstacles he had to overcome to get where he is today), you'd definitely have respect for him off the field as well as on too. And to think, we basically got him in return for getting rid of Herm...
Good for him. Leon is the man, our one explosive playmaker. He has to get more involved in the offense. I loved when we drafted this kid on draft day in 06, and he just keeps improving. He may break the NFL Record for most kick returns for TDs in a season shortly (I believe it's 4).
Okay man...the "award" is for returning kicks, not for offense. /no SARCASM Darren McFadden is the man!
My buddy is the concierge in his building and he says the guy is one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. Good tipper too. -X-
That "skinny half-back with Todd Pinkston legs" is the same size as Adrian Peterson...and he is probably more explosive than him. McFadden would put fans in the stands and get us out of that 32nd ranking for worst fans in the NFL.
So you are suggesting the Jets tie up 50 Million in Rbs? Same size? AP- 6'1 220lbs DMC- 6'2 200lbs Look at him. His legs look like PVC pipes.
