I'm hurting this week at RB, too. Edge and Barber on a bye, so that leaves me with AP (from the Bears, not Minn) and Ahman Green to start. 16 team league, so pickins are extremely slim.
I just traded for Marvin Harrison and he's out today. Now I have to start Joe Jerevicious. My keeper league season is looking over at this point.
In one league, I have Travis Henry and Chris Henry (and also the other Chris Henry; Anthony Henry is also available, I should pick him up for the hell of it). Travis Henry is in my lineup right now, but maybe I should start Chris Henry or Michael Turner instead.
I'm up 117.2 to 111.2 he still has Driver and Travis Henry left to play. Fucking Mondays have been my demise all season.
Re: 104 Moot point now. I have Travis Henry and Brandon Marshall going for me tomorrow night. I already creamed my opponent. Tom Brady, David Harris, Leigh Bodden, Glenn Holt, and Greg Olsen all had big games for me today. That team is now 6-2 and on a 5-game winning streak. It's a keeper league. I lost the title game in 2005 and won it in 2006 and have a chance to go far in the playoffs again.
Jerevicious actually showed up today. So long as Den D does not outscore Cutler by 20 points, I will live to see another week. I'll probably have to win out until Week 14 to make the playoffs, but there's still hope!
Somehow I friggin won, he left Henry in there and Driver didn't do much. I almost lost it when Denver forced OT and when Green Bay won the toss. I almost lost it again when that pass was in the air until I saw the jersey number didn't read "80"
Favre got me 27 points, and Portis netted me 31. My team total was 75... Needless to say I lost to the guy who named his team, "YOUR TEAM'S BYE WEEK" Alexander has been a HUGE bust for me, Steve Smith is in just about the same league, my defense got me nothing, and Anotonio Gates had his worst game of the season.
*Sigh* I was up 60 on this kid, he comes all the way back going up 16. Jamal Lewis and Terrel Owens and Packers D are his notables. I have Willie Parker and Jeff Reed going tonight and he has McGahee. I doubt I'll be able to make up a 16 point differential. *Sigh* Score as of now 140-124 him. If I started Engram over Dallas Clark my post would be a different story.
Garbage team... My team has been garbage all season. First pick is on LT, he can't get it together except for that game where he had four td's. Last week he had 40 anemic yards. Coles, my number 1 WR starter is out. Todd Heap was supposed to start tonight according to ESPN and so called "fantasy experts." But guess who's sitting the bench and was listed as inactive at the last minute?! My QB Bree's, has barely started to pick it up, but now it's too late. Losing by a point or two in a close week sucks too.
I hate when this happens... second highest scoring team in the league this week... just happened to be playing against the highest scoring team for the week, in a 14-team league. Once again Philip Rivers let me down. He's gotten me negative points twice this season, and this week got me 0.19 points. Thanks man.
"Your #1 WR is Coles?? Is this one of those 24 team leagues? " No, 14 team... I had the first pick of the draft and went RB, RB...LT and Julius Jones, I picked up Coles in 4th or 5th round. I do have Holmes though, he bailed me out last night, gave me 22 points thank God. I have Roethlisberger, so I think I'll try to trade Brees away while his stocks high.
I have LJ in my bullshit league. Anyone else getting really worried about these reports that he's out for the season? I'm also getting worried about Marvin. I hope he plays next week.
Harrison's injury really has been under the radar. For him to sit out this long, I mean is this the longest he's been out in his career? It's substantially understated. As for LJ, I almost traded for him and hope he is out for the year.
