He was not Injury Prone...He broke his foot, his senior year, and as a result ran a mid 4.6....

    So they're bad receivers?

Well I didn't catch on, sorry. Regardless, those drops were another thing that killed us.

The group of WR we put on the field yesterday was second rate at best.

    I agree.

Without Coles, our set of WR's goes from pretty good, to
    abysmal.

That having been said, this is the first year, they have brought in
more than just one young guy at a time.

They had Wright on the field, also, They used Chris Davis, though he had no
catches...Stuckey on IR, and David Clowney on the practice squad, at
least tells you they are trying to get younger and faster at the position....

Its funny, since Chad has been the starter, receivers have commented about how the ball just floats into their hand. They definitely don't get many reps with the backup QB unless there's an obvious need. To me, it would seem the mere fact of having penny on the field would be an obvious reason to get more reps to #2.

Oh please stop already! Soon I'm going to read that Chad had a hand in the sinking of the Titanic! Please, no analogies required.

I def think the receivers have no excuses for dropping those balls. They are pros! They've seen fast throws come there way before at some point.

I think its clear we missed Coles on Sunday.

Chad wasn't born yet. That's just silly talk.

Chad did bust the dot-com bubble though. Bastard.

That sounds like a reasonable explanation except for the fact receivers have been dropping balls all year whether w/ Chad passing the ball or KC.

one thing i really dont get is the abuse of shotgun formations....i know we didnt use it for a good while before the new CS got here, but yesterday it was like i was watching the gators wear green (minus all the scoring). i dont get why the shotgun is being used so much.

yesterday the field was being spread with 3-5 WRs....i can understand having the formations in the playbook....but it seems like they CS is trying to spread the defense around to ignite the running game....and KC had 1 less yard than TJ yesterday!

im glad the shotgun is here....but can we put darrien barnes on the active list, load up the TEs and I form and smash jones down some throats? way too much shotgun imo yesterday....especially since it wasnt helping.
