watchingthe jets this season.brings to light the shortcomings of the jets defensive ends.ellis has lost a step or two and coleman is just a mediocre fill in.I saw this coming when the jets just gave up on that draft and did not sign any free agents that might have helped their pass rush.in other words the jets gave up this season.tanny is running a tight ship.signing second rate free agents was a way of saving money.
There weren't very many good 3-4 free agents besides Adalius Thomas, and I think he chose the right team. This next draft, I think we're going to be in the top 4 again, but this time we're going to trade out and stock pile NUMEROUS picks for this year, and maybe next. Our GM knows what he's doing, even if it hasn't shown yet with wins. Most of his picks in the past 2 drafts have been excellent players for us. Davis Harris had 20 solo tackles yesterday, and 15 the week before. Darrelle Revis has been pretty good in run support, and the 'Skins were afraid to throw at him yesterday. D'Brick Ferguson has been excellent in pass protection, but he still could get bigger to help the run. Nick Mangold...this guy should be a multi-pro bowler. Leon Washington is a Pro-Bowl return man and a decent 3rd down back in his SECOND year. Brad Smith and Eric Smith are both solid special teams players, and could contribute down the line. Jacob Bender could end up being a HUGE steal for us. I hope he pans out. (Have you ever heard of the space bar? -- Your posts are always a mess)

you cannot succeed in this league without a pass rush...if you give any professional quarterback 5 or more seconds to throw, you are fucked....and thats what we are doing...quarterbacks have alllll day in the pocket vs us...and we cant stop the run...so pretty much, our D blows
