I will bet you we get the full fifteen from him. He's a real Jets fan and nothing brings that out more than the highs and lows. Today was a big low.
I really like Evan Roberts, but Joe was better by himself on the overnight shift. Plus he wouldn't even sleep on a Jets loss, he'd be right in there Sunday night at 1 a.m.
We are a 1-6 team that just became a 1-7 team, he won't spend much time at all, and this wasn't a big low, just another low of plenty this year.
The last time a team that was under .500 held the Jets to a FG or less at home was week 5 in 2000 when the Steelers did it. The time before that was week 17 against New Orleans in 1995. The time before that was week 17 against New Orleans in 1992. Geez, that's weird. We got shut out at home by New Orleans twice in the mid early to mid 90's. Whoops, New Orleans was actually above .500 in 1992. So that makes three such losses in 13 years.
I am not saying it wasn't ugly, but the sting of this loss lessens tremendously when we are already out of it.
Joe B is too much of a die hard to let this disaster of a loss to pass with at least having a segment about it. I think its pretty safe to say he'll blast Mangini for alot of horrible decisions this week/game, praise Harris, and blast noodle arm Pennington for playing scared and checked down to a running back every pass play.
The real question is: Who CARES what Joe is going to say? All he is going to do is make himself look like a moron.

The people who really like Joe B are the fans who have watched the Jets for 2 generations and understand exactly what he's saying. I don't want to put a ghost over your shoulder but you'll have very different thought patterns when you get over 40 and have been watching this kind of crap for 30+ years. I'm guessing I'll be on last legs at that point if it goes down that way and it'll be 50+ years since the Jets won a super bowl. If that's the case I hope Joe B is still scratching out a rant every Monday as a counterpoint to the cluelessness of the Jets.
