undrafted 25 year old second-year player out of Kent State. he was signed in september, after the cowboys cut him he?s having a really good game, delivered some good shots. did you see what he did to Eric Ghiaciuc on that screen before halftime?
Eric Smith is playing today. He is in there for Coleman. Coleman has sicked all year. Maybe Elam has been playing well in practice and they want to see him on the field.

It's apparent that Mangini is not a big fan of Erik Coleman but he has to come to grisps with the fact that he is the best free safety we have on the current roster. Until we draft or sign his replacement, this yo-yoing him in and out of the roster needs to stop.
I liked the intensity with which he played with. The penalty was bad, and Dorsey made a nice move to make him look stupid on a blitz, but I want to see more of him.
Elam sucked today, period. Why he was even in was beyond me. Coleman and Smith are 1000x better than this dud.
Did you even watch the game? He was all over the place. And he hits with a whollup. He missed one tackle and had a bad penalty. Other than that he was fine and we should definitely see more of him.
Yes I watched the game. Did you see his clearly missed hit on the bengals RB on what would have been an 3 easy yd loss on 3rd down, and instead was a 1st down? He was unblocked and just missed him. Coleman is a proven starter, and Smith is rising, I've never even heard of this dud elam.
