The Cardinals signed Tim Rattay to back up Warner. Rattay is a much better player here in 2007 than Testaverde.
As long as there is some dopey team out there willing to pay him, why not? It's not like he's Montana or Elway and he has some legacy to protect.
Exactly. Where else can you get a million bucks or so to stand around on the sidelines for 11 weeks making jokes and having fun.
HE IS A PANTHER! Man, I hope he plays.....Steve Smith would probably liek to catch a few testabombs.... http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news...slug=ap-panthers-testaverde&prov=ap&type=lgns http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news...slug=ap-panthers-testaverde&prov=ap&type=lgns
I just heard on the radio, VINNY MAY START this weekend. Warner is reported to be suffering from a sore back. WATCH OUT MOTHA FUGGAS!
He ment to say Carr has a back injury. Vinny might start this Sunday for the Pathers, I just heard it on ESPN Radio.
Steve Smith must be licking his chops. For the first time in his career he may have somebody with a gun for an arm throwing to him.
A Patriots fan here... I never much cared for Vinnie when he was with the Jets, mostly cause he was a pain for my team twice a year. Still, Belichick likes to keep a kid prospect QB around, and a true veteran. Doug Flutie was the other recent vet a few years back. Vinnie took over last season. So, anyway, last year, last regular season game, Belichick puts in Vinnie for one last drive, scoring a TD, just to keep Vinnie's 20 odd season touchdown pass streak going. I'm not really scared of the Panthers reaching the Super Bowl this year. Vinnie is off in another dimension, for all practical purposes... But I'd kind of like to see Vinnie throw one more touchdown at least... Better in the NFC than back here in the AFC East. I'd been wondering if the Dolphins were going to bring him in. They seem almost as desperate for a QB as the Panthers.
