C Pennington is done and JMO don't think K Clemens will be the answer either. We know Tuiasosopo is not either. I was preaching this all offseason, that i didn't like jets QB situation. Also I felt teams had figured out Jets offense(dink and dunk) and defenses would play those short routes more agressively.
I Know Clemens looked so good in second half against ravens. Now was it Clemens, or the fact that Ravens were playing a diffrent type of defense.

    Getting back to the topic,

I know of a QB on trading block(Andrew Walter) who would be a very good fit for Jets. JMo he would easily beat out a K Clemens for Jets starting QB job. What wrong with a little competition- Mangini. Instead of just handing a QB the job.

You're trapped in a room with a Lion, Cobra snake and a Raiders fan. You have a gun with two bullets. What should you do?

Shoot the Raiders fan - twice.

your dead wrong. Walter is a trashcan with legs. Clemens showed me enough in the 4th qtr against the Ravens that he should be starting.

you were allowed to be under the dillusion Walter was the answer when he first came to Oak, so how about we see if our guy can get the job done?

furthermore it looks as if Mangini is being stubborn we'll see how long he takes to get his shit together and finally bench chad

Special K you do know that most QBs are going to struggle their first year starting. Peyton manning threw 11 interceptions in his first four games. Jamarcus Russell probably going to struggle in his first year too. Who cares because it just takes time with most young QBs. Big Ben didn't because he had a proven running game to rely on. IF raiders keep running the football as well as they have, than its only going to make jamarcus Russell job alot easier. (growing pains won't be as severe)

Another thing you can get excited for what K Clemens did in second half but you can't forget what he looked like in first half. Raven defense played the second half alot diffrent that first. Now was it him or the ravens defense reasponsible for him looking good.

Andrew Walter going to be a good QB in this league and it not goping to be with raiders. JMO only time will confirm that I think Andrew walter will be a better qb than K Clemens.

This post isn't trash talking. Its a serious post as you know I was never a big believer in Jets QB situation or oline. Thomas Jones was a big time addition, but Jets didn't do enough to improve Oline. How many post did i make that Jets running game, was going to struggle as a result.

He had absolutely zero chance to suceed in Oakland. Give him a line and some weapons and I think he can be pretty good.

I wasn't fond of his play at Arizona State. He looked like a future NFL backup to me. I realize the deck was stacked against him last year, so I'm not going to kill him too much for what happened last year. From what I saw in Pacific-10 play, Clemens is a significantly better prospect.
