Man if the NYJs or FB in general forces you into counseling which will be costing you both time & money then I really do think it is time for a shrink. BTW I was never mislead by your & others TC reports because the TC world & the real FB world is like nite is to day. So you can sleep well every nite knowing that at least one NYJ fan was not mislead by your reports
The counselling thing was intended to be a joke, but I'm sure you already knew that. As far as "misleading" anyone, I'm sure none of the guys who reported from TC tried to intentionally give anyone a false impression. There were certainly negatives as well as positives and it was fun to be there and comment on it. You should get out of the house and try it sometime. You might even see some of the positives.
OK why not point those positives out that you claim I am missing. You know there is a old adage which says "you are what your record says you are" or words to that effect. Outside of Man, BG, Crotch (still luke warm on him until we get a thrower & see if he can stretch the field) Coles same comment as Crotch, Rhodes (again luke warm) Harris (still needs to prove) Revis (also still needs to prove), KC (also a need to prove player), TJ (ANTP). All the rest is ordinary to less then ordinary players really plain & simple which is exactly why we are what we are & what we will continue to be until somebody in the CS/FO wises up & starts a hugh upgrade of our talent level
Back in the Day I was like many Jet fans...... A FREAKING CRAZY NUT in need of counseling.... People would question wether they wanted to watch games with me. Things could easily be broken around me watching the J E T S. The sad thing about this season so far is that for maybe the 1st time ever I'm watching these games with little to no emotion anymore.... HO FREAKING HUM.... My sister calls and asks my wife "How's he doing".... Friends call and NOTHING,..... I simply move on to the next game on TV and the Fantasy scores..... It's as if we ALL told the Jets the problems they had and what they needed to do and they just ignored it and what's happening is just too damn predictable... The Day Mangini took over this team his goal should have been to find a run stuffing NT and keep adding to the OL..... That's all. Simple. Some of us were leery of Brick, Well ok, they chose the hometown good guy and he's not that great - Well GIVE HIM HELP THEN, don't subtract players... They had 3/5 of the OL that was decent - Just ADD another real good player if nothing else for depth - What do they do, subract 1 player, the one with the most experience, and I realize Kendall was a Big Ass, but, they saw it coming - You can't jump up for Harris when you know your OL just fell apart - They could have drafted TWO OL with the Harris pick...... UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I'm emotional talking about the Jets now but, watching the game now I'm like a zombie... every once in a while I just shake my head..... Well, maybe I'l watch this one with Giant fan friends and just drink a lot.

Why would ANYONE be upset about reports from TC?? I was one of the people at camp and i feel confident that my reports were spot on....The only players i recall being wrong on were Michael Haynes(didnt make the team) and D rob(I thought he'd take the next step as NT). Other than that...everything i said made it's way into this season. Brick has taken the next step, Our recieving corps is quite good, Pennington is not throwing the ball deep at all, and Nugent has improved significantly. I know others at camp have very similar offerings...if you have a problem w/ our evaluations/opinions...don't read them. Tbird was also at camp...and his 2 biggest concerns heading into the season as a result of camp are ALSO proving true. Lack of quality on the right side of the OL, and the DL were his biggest concerns...
You do know champ knows more than anybody else. Even if he does not watch the game, he worships at the shrine of Cimini.
I totally agree, I actually feel mislead after reading all the good reviews about TC. Now that I watch the team (limited capacity), I can't believe my eyes. We can't stop anyone or move the ball consistently enough. so far this year, we are a joke and not to be considered a threat to anyone. Season Over
I'm very similar w/ the zombie thing....except out of NOWHERE...Ill have a complete emotional or violent-ridden breakdown. One of the reasons is I'm no longer satisfied w/ being competitive or a wild card finish. I've dealt w/ every single asshole New England fan known to man..before that it was the bandwagon Cowboys fan, and growing up, it was Giant fans. I'm sick of being the punching bag for other less loyal, less knowledgeable fans..and I want my day in the sun. Whether this is the regime that finally brings us glory remains to be seen. They say all the right things, but this past offseason was downright pitiful
From Champ, I've come to accept just about any statement because, well... it's Champ. But I'm not going to sit back and listen to anyone else join the "misled" bandwagon and whine about "misleading" reports. How dare you? Next summer, YOU get off your fat ass and put up with the traffic on the Belt, the humidity and the 98-degree days to issue your OWN reports or form your own opinions. And by all means, I don't want you reading any reports here next summer, lest you become misled again! Same goes for Champ. My reports aside (because I don't pretend to be a particularly great reporter), those who took the time to go to Camp and report what they saw are a great bunch of loyal Jets fans and board members who returned home in heavy traffric and after a long, hot day there, still made time that evening to painstakingly and unselfishly try to accurately CONTRIBUTE what they saw. You never had to read any of it and neither did Champ, so excuse me if I take out the world's smallest fiddle for the two of you over the fact you both feel "misled." Christ, piss me off, why dont you!
You do realize they can look good in training camp and then come out and suck real bad, right? They are basically playing against, well, each other. Once they started playing preseason games it became readily apparent that our OL & DL were having significant issues in comparison to the teams they faced.
the bills always play us tough and we almost always split with them. i will be disgusted if we lose to the giants.
Don't sweat this man. All of you guys that report from camp are doing an AMAZING job. Anyone who doesn't appreciate the time and effort you guys put in is an idiot.
i appreciate all reports from TC everyone is diffrent and have diffrent perspectives on it, if they were all the same what fun would it be in that. dont pay attention to those guys buddy, just keep it up.
I would but it is NOT worth it IMHO. If I have to be in the NYC area during the TC season I will be happy enough to pop in. I also think you forgot what you posted in post #1 of this thread Here is your post which is what I replied to as i was confirming I was not one of the NYJ fans that was mislead I especially feel bad because I reported many positive things I saw at TC this summer... possibly it can be said some of my posts were cause for others' optimism here on the board. It must have been my green sunglasses.
