Maybe but you also have to consider that as a young QB you could be molded to your coaching, and having the most conservative person alive molding him gave him no chance in hell, especially after the injuries that he suffered.

Lots of things changed after Hackett was gone, the problem is that injuries negated that change. Hackett is terrible. :hackett:

No injuries instilled that fear, since those sapped the arm strength that he had

correcto. Chad plays conservative cause that what he knows. Once the shoulders went there was no way he wold ever develop and break out in another system. He was literally broken into that mold...

plus if he was highly thought of in the league don't you think he'd be running another offense?

Oh I definitely agree with that for the most part. But even before the injuries, the Raiders wrote the book on Chad in that playoff loss...they made him look terrible by forcing him to make some of the same throws that still give him trouble today.

That was just 1 game, every QB goes through that, and forcing QBs into situations would make almost any QB look bad

Their overthinking involves the development of plays, not their own physical abilities.

How long have you guys watched football? These Chad threads are completely asinine. The man played really well yesterday, he made a couple of mistakes late but if his K hits a chip shot FG we are tied, if we don't have critical penalty afater critical penatly we score alot more than 14. This game was not on Chad. It's amazing how the moron whiners on this board need a scapegoat.

Not really well. Almost well enough to win.

And thats another knock on Chad. The Offensive play calling was atrocious in the first half, The Refs were calling a one sided game (HOW THE F*((* DOES the hit to the HEAD of an UPRIGHT QB get missed?, as well as the face mask on Jones at the end of a run play later...)

But Chad had the Ball, with 7 minutes left, and took 4 to get down the field and score, sadly we were down two scores. He cant make up the big yardage quickly, nor can he put the team on his shoulders and bring them home once in a while, when they need it.

Based on the game plans and play calling so far this year - I see no evidence that Hackett is actually gone; other than the fact that one of the third and fifteen draws actually worked yesterday.
