Wasn't sure whether to vote internet or radio as I listen to the games online, but I voted radio. My computer isn't fast enough for live tv streams on my computer, and as a student I can't afford Sunday Ticket right now/and am too young to go into sports bars , so I just listen to the games through various websites
Well... about 25 or so would need to go on my property. At $500 a pop (yes, i checked), it gets pretty expensive. =) Luckily 3 of the first 4 games are shown here.
Live down in NC now so have to watch it on directv with my four year old son (who is a die hard Jets fan also)!! We have a blast every Sunday. Use to go to the games when I lived in NJ but been down here since '99!!!
I watch local tv live usually at home, but tomorrow i will be watching at a bar near columbia if they are showing it. i usually cook up several hebrew nationals and enjoy those while watching!!:jets:
Home Games - usually Live @ the stadium Home Games not attended - CBS or whatever network carries it locally Away Games - CBS or whatever network carries it locally rarely do I go to a bar to watch. I stay home and watch on my 57" HDTV. I find it to be a much more relaxed atmosphere with cheaper food, cheaper and better beer, free parking and the cleanest of bathrooms anywhere on the planet. Plus I can spend time with my family and not risk a DUI/DWI.
Satellite. Used to go to a sports bar for every game, but that stopped when I got married. Now I watch the game at home. My 4 month old daughter (who isn't technically allowed to watch) constantly tries to sneak peeks at the TV. She won't try to watch anything but football, but she already loves the Jets. Poor kid.
When i watch at home, a lot of times I listen to the radio whith the sound off on the TV. The radio call is a second or two ahead of the TV feed, but I am able to focus on the play that i know is developing. i know, i am weird. When I have friends over to watch the game, they wont let me do that. Today, i think i will listen to the Mets on the radio and watch the Jets with the sound off. TV announcers suck!
I usually HD-DVR the local games just enough to skip the commercials, and then stream via sopcast an out of market game. The stream quality sucks, but hey its a free extra two games! I've actually been thinking about canceling my cable programing entirely and only paying a monthly bill for internet and VOIP. All the good Tv and movies are torrented, leaving only sports-if sopcast was a little better I"d already have cut my ties. I"m giving the yahoo nfl package a serious look right now.
i'm still trying to decide whether to go out and watch the game or take a chance with sopcast today. if i wait til 1pm and sopcast dont work,i'll never get a table in front of the jets game if i go to overtime late. sopcast has it listed on 3 channels today. ones gotta work right?
I just posted on TYT to make sure the game was going to get capped this week. My Sattelites on the fritz and im not confident ill get it fixed in time. >:O
i use a slingbox thing which sends me NY TV to me directly, its pretty good, but sometimes i lose the connection or the channel changes randomly. Still it beats paying for the audio crap...
Sat in my office watching gamepass on my computer shouting and ranting like a madman. Wearing my white JC shirt , drinking heavily!! The wife thinks I am insane....shes right!!
I'd say go, think about if you go out there is a 100 percent chance you'll get the game (barring an earthquake in Buffalo:breakdance: ), but if you try to watch sopcast you might not get it
