I watch it at home along with all the other games via satellite...I have a deal with my wife- I give her 20 bucks and a dirty look and she grabs the rug rats and gets the fuuuuuck outta the house......thats how I do bitches
What ever tavern I stroll into about an hour before kickoff that has the most JET FANS in it at that time...I`m a littlte bummed I won`t be in Buffalo this weekend .
Have you checked out the 30 minute cuts of the games? I was fortunate to get the Superfan for free due to early sign-up and I couldn't be happier. I have 2 DVRs and 2 TVs--Jets on a 36" and generally the Panthers on a little 17" for friends. I will be attending my first game @ the Meadowlands 10/28 to see us take on the Bills. I have a thread in the Jets Experience forum asking for advice if anyone has any.
Have to watch the game live, on local broadcast. This comes at a steep price as my children hate the loss of attention and act up with often creative negative behavior in order to recapture my attention. It gets ugly, expecially if the Jets are losing. Worse, my daughter is a Pats fan, so she gets to gloat...
Direct TV Superfan package -- I dont miss my Jets - there are 6 more days during the week to do family stuff -- and 30 or so off season Sundays -- Having an understanding wife helps alot too ...
In gravity boots hanging from a chinning bar in my closet. I make prank calls to the Jet's sideline during the game to find out what their innermost desires are.
Yea, I'm with you here. I don't watch any College Football -- unfortuantely -- because I can't devote two days to football. So, I try to ensure I have 3 hours each Sunday to watch the game. If it's an early game, the kids are napping by halftime (3:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. MT). Last weekend, I had to DVR the game because of an unfortunate command performance at Thomas & Friends that fell right at 1:30 p.m. ET. Trying to get the kids hooked at 2 1/2 so they'll eventually want to watch it with me and prod the Mrs. into more football watching ultimately (good luck, right?).
I attend the home games and watch the away games on CBS, now CBS HD. One week a year I'm flying back from a business trip on an NFL Sunday, last year it was the Jacksonville disaster, this year it will be unfortunately during the Giant game.
The 30 minute cuts are very cool. It's a nice way to save the game and go back and watch. It doesn't take up a lot of space on the DVR either. I bought a 60" screen for this season. It's incredible watching football this way. Sunday is MY day. The family stays away and lets me watch in peace. Hey, I bring home the cash?I deserve it.
You know what's great is the Red Zone Channel. In the past I always thought it was just a bunch of fantasy bullshit stats I'm not interested in, but it isn't. They switch to anywhere something is happening, it's great when the Jets aren't on and I can't decide which game to stick with. No commercials, either.
That little bar that pops up at the bottom of the screen on the Bills game. I really, really hate western New York.
I have to say that anyone flying a giant explosive over the game i am at especially when they list their location as SYRIA ,(which has a history of blowing people & things up ) gives me cause for concern....
Unfortunately starting this year, I'm not. Just bought a new house in MA and thanks to tree cover, DirecTV was unable to get direct LOS. Sucks for me.
