I am looking to make my survivor league pick for the week and one of the matchups I am contemplating is the jets over Buffalo. How confident are you guys that you can beat arguably the league's worst team (because of ridiculous amounts of injuries)
Buffalo's always tough in Buffalo. I expect the Jets to win, but it's the Jets, so there are no guarantees. Ever.
We always have trouble with Buffalo, but they're pretty lousy this year.... We have a good shot, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it....
Well you have to take the Jets at some point so this might be as good a time as any. We should go into Buffalo and stomp them but as the others have said this is the Jets going into Buffalo so you never know..
These are the matchups I am leaning towards... Jets over Buffalo, Baltimore over Cleveland, Green Bay over Minnesota, Houston over Atlanta. All are road teams....which makes me nervous. I can still pick Indy (vs. Denver) or San Diego (Vs KC)....San Diego though just has stunk, and it's a division rival game. Dallas should beat up St. Louis..but the Rams are due for a big game.
bigger mistake. Take the Jets on the road in Buffalo. For some reason we usually beat them there and they usually kick our ass here. I can recall the Jets winning more at Buffalo then on the road at home. (yes, the Jets play on the road when they`re home). :wink: I would go with SD. Division rival or not, they are at home against Herman Edwards and SD is totally overdue for a serious whoopin on someones ass. KC fits that bill imho.

We always hav problems with buff in buff but this year will be different. They are hurtin pretty bad so Id say 80% chance we win. Plus Im going so we'd better win!!
dont do that...jp losman isnt playing on sunday so they have trent edwards, a rookie, starting vs us...we should be able to run the ball on them and pennington should be effective on the play action passes, id be confident in this pick...go jets this weekend

I just have a really hard time seeing the Jets losing on Sunday. It'd probably cost Chad dearly in terms of his ability to hold onto his job unless it was a barnburner of the 31-28 variety. Remember, Chad owns most bad teams home or road. Every once in a while you get a stinker out of him, like at Cleveland last year, but those are the big exceptions. I'd take the Jets in the suicide pool.
Not this week my friend. Buffalo is always a crapshoot especially when we go to play them. I would say go somewhere else for this week.
