ESPN reported Thomas is going through testing for a possible concussion and may miss the game on Sunday.

Serves him right for his cheap and illegal hit on Coles last year.

ah ZT being off the field is a plus for us. But really i'd prefer taylor lay down next to him on the sidelines...

We've already played two games against opponents with major injuries. This will make as much of a difference as the injuries the Pats and Ravens had going into our game.

Good thing his hair covers it up.

There is a world of difference between NE, and Baltimore and Miami, on defense.

And having Thomas out, or incapacitated, exacerbates it.

The Jets should score at least 24, on Sunday.

PREDICTION......Chad top 5 QB in the NFL, Jets 11-5 naysayers put up or shut up*********

don't you think you ought to remove this prediction from your postings, homer? otherwise, i'd like to do exactly what you say as far as put up or shut up.

i've got $500 that says neither chad has stats of a top 5 qb (total homerism there) and the jets don't come close to any 11-5 record! now do you have the kauhunua's to put up or shut up???? lets have it homer, any balls!!!

Pennington is Currently #2 in Passer Rating.

The put up or shut up refers to keeping your prognostication in your sig.

    That should be easy enough......

And Currently my season prediction is only one game off. I predicted a split, but then again, that was without factoring losing our starting QB.

This is a much bigger loss than the loss of Harrison or Odgen. He is a star on the Dolphins, a star that is in perilously short supply for them. That is completely unlike that of the Pats or Ravens which have a ton.

Did I already mention that I'm glad he has a concussion? He wasn't even fined for the helmet-to-helmet on Coles last year, IRRC.

DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins middle linebacker Zach Thomas will miss Sunday's game against the New York Jets after tests revealed he has a mild concussion.

Thomas might be available to play next week.

Thomas played every snap in Miami's loss Sunday to Dallas but said he felt lightheaded in the locker room after the game. He complained of a migraine this week and missed practice for the third day in a row Friday.

The game will be only the 14th Thomas has missed in his 12-year career.

I just want to say that I got this thread link from Finheaven. I really enjoy most of the Jets posters that post in Finheaven. It's really great to hear opposing view points and have good discussions regarding each others teams. I know some of you post frequently at Finheaven and are very knowledgeable and really help make Finheaven what it is.

Now as a fan of the Dolphins and even just a fan of football. This phrase is about as crappy as it gets. What person can be glad another players gets a concussion? The type of person that has the same type of character of someone like Michael Vick or Pacman Jones. Just awful. Even if I'm a Jet fan I'd be disgusted that this guy represents Jet fans and says crap like this. It really makes you all look bad and makes the people who post on your site look awful. It's almost like laughing after Kevin Everett's injury and hoping he doesn't walk again. You'd think with all the issues with concussions and the difficulties players have had with them that you'd understand a concussion is nothing to take lightly, yet you throw around phrases like I'm glad.

Zach Thomas in no way meant to hurt Coles last year. He wasn't head hunting, he wasn't aiming to injure him and it wasn't his fault that the league didn't fine him. He was playing football at 100mph with whole ton of heart the same way he always has....and the same way Coles goes about playing every game. To think Thomas took a cheap shot against Coles is just being ignorant because you won't find a poor comment made about guys like Zach Thomas or Jason Taylor from other players in the league, other coaches in the league, or other fans (other than yourself from what I've seen). It's just a real shame. It's certainly made me rethink about posting on this site. I know being a Dolphin fan it doesn't matter, but like I've said before, I really enjoy having discussions with other teams, especially discussing those opposing view points of our rivals.

    Just utterly disgusting.
